Detroit Tigers
This will be the official home base for all of the Tigers fans during the playoffs. I'll get a card table and a couple chairs. BYOB.

Tigers +140 tonight. Betting against the rookie. He does not pitch as well at home and we will see how he handles the pressure. Fister is solid and hasn't given up more than one ER in a month.

local sports talk show had a guy on from Free Press yesterday. Can't remember his name, but he said Detroit sports fans are more excited about the Lions 4-0 start than the Tigers being in the playoffs.
Any truth to that, hard to imagine that is the case?

I don't live in Michigan any more but that seems hard to believe. Then again, the biggest diehard fans always seemed to be the Lion faithful.

It didn't end well, but it was a successful run. Losing V-Mart was brutal, but picking up Prince totally changes this offense. When V-Mart returns, and is hopefully healthy, this offense is going to be something else.
