Fletcher if it has changed since April than I stand humbly corrected, but sports betting certainly goes towards comps at Park Place properties (Paris and Ballys being the ones I know best). It is a large part of the reason I am still able to get cheap/free rooms there. Most of the properties will also start rating you at $25 a hand bj, but like you said still require 4 hours minimum of play.

I am looking forward to checking out a new property on this trip, have never been there before. Though what do you know about shuttles from the Sunset to the Strip. I thought I remembered reading about one, though have not been able to get any other info from them yet.

Is there any knid of a deal for Thurs. through Monday (4 nights)? I'm thinking about coming but would like to spend a couple of days. Flight is about 4 1/2 hrs. non-stop from Charlotte and don't know if I will have a layover or not yet. I haven't made any reservations but would like to find out hotel costs first. Let me know. I dont use paypal anymore and wont but I do use Neteller very often and it is easy to send Neteller to you all we would need if we wanted to send it to you that way is the email you signed up with and there is a box we can type our comments(MJ screen name in there as well)

place is terrific. I remember the Gaudi bar most (see below).

There were no shuttles when I visited. Tho the city bus stops nearby, and goes straight downtown.

A rental car is most convenient! If you do rent a car, you can save the 10% airport rental tax by renting at your hotel--if your hotel has a rental place.

I signed up free for Dollar rent a car "fastlane" membership over the 'net and therefore didn't have to wait in long ass line at counter (at airport).

Strip shuttle info

It's been up and running since January this year.

Twice a day, departs Sunset Station 12:30pm and 6:30pm.

Departs Tropicana Casino/Hotel to Sunset Station 1:20 and 7:15 pm.

rooms should be held by next week they did not have many trying for 15 3 day packet for around 280-290 fri-sun you can add monday for a low price. will have it all ready by thur need to start a name list and then i will tell you who to call and what to say. they will be sold out soon so we don't have lot of time to fill rooms when i get them because they can sell the at a higher price so do not drag feet. start putting names up.

Jack, a few things I wanted to say plus bump this to the top.....frst, is there a deadline to pay you for this party? I very much want to go, but a friend is pending on his work schedule, and a few other things, but I know fletch needs to reserve the rooms soon. Just tell me whens the latest you need to tell the place how many people you expect, but since room holds 250 probly dont even hafta tell them. and, i assume if i wait too long all of rooms wont be available, i dont know, unless someone cancels at the last minute or S.Station will bend me over and charge me an arm and a leg b/c of the time of super bowl....2nd, re:budget suites u suggested to me to live....I looked at them briefly, they have kitcchen, one BR, etc, there is one right behind/near the stardust, a few others located in varuous spots in LV..whered u hear they rent rooms to people for a month at a time? I dont see why they wouldnt, guess its more of a rental/apt place than a hotel..also, do you or anyone else maybe fletch know any people who run/own/know someone else, who can hook me up with a bartending gig out there if i go, If i do move itll be next august, hafta check it out there though and SB would be perfect time...I dont wanna move out there w/o a job though ya know, and i dont know who to ask, hopefully someone on here can get me a shot I will have a year experience by then and Im a fast learner.....thanks jack and thanks all for this party, hopefully I can make it and everyone wil have a blast how can you ot w/free booze
