What do you know?
The Colts finally won a game, thaking the Falcons by 14. The down side, of course, is allowing Atlanta 27 pts, which are the most by the Falcons in their last 9 games.
Manning only had 1 pick, but still that makes 21 for the season & check Rhodes piling up 177 RYs.
But this is a revenge setup (like Eagles & Ravens LW) for the JETS.
Check the "Ds" of both lately;
Indy 23 ppg past 5 outings;
NYJ 11 ppg last 7 outings.
And throw on the fact that the JETS have a 23 TO edge the yr while the Colts have a 16 TO deficit.
Say what ? You want trends ?
Series revenger 7-1-1 ATS
JETS are 26-11-1 ATS on the road of late &
who are a solid 8-1-1 ATS on the division road.
Another ? Okay, the series dog is on a 17-4 spread run.
Gentlemen....... J E T S jetsjetsjets
JETS 27 Colts 24
New York Jets are a "Key Release"
~~Rating 2~~
Key Releases are rating from 1-5,
the lower the number the higher the play.
On a unrelated note:
"openning" is spelled "opening"
No biggie just kinda looks strange

i have to pretty much agree here. jets are particularly vulnerable to the run, which indy is lacking, and vinny can actually afford to get intercepted a couple of times and still win the game.
any kind of half-a.. effort by the jets will win it.

Schedule and results (ATS) last 5 games.
JETS
KC -won 27-7 (W)
@MIA -won 24-0 (W)
NE -lost 16-17 (L)
@PIT -lost 7-18 (L)
CIN -won 15-14 (L)
The Jets still have a descent team, but they had better get their act together soon. Their performance the last 3 games has been poor and is a terrible way to go toward the playoffs. RB Martin is having a great year but the rest of the team has been average at best lately. The Jets can and should win this game decidedly. They despirately need it.
COLTS
@NO -lost 20-34 (L)
SF -lost 21-40 (L)
@BAL -lost 27-39 (L)
@MIA -lost 6-41 (L)
ATL -won 41-27 (W)
The Colts seemed to wake up last week after the beating they took the week before. Without RB James the Colts are one dimensional. QB Manning has been a leader, but they need to win. It shouldnt be here.
The Colts defense is dead last in points against. At 405 points it averages over 31 points against every game of the season. Terrible. There is no way they can win that way.

Just repeating what I feel is an important fact:
The Colts defense has given up 405 points in 13 games. Thats over 31 points average each game.
Thats two and a half times more points given up by teams like PIT, PHIL and CHI.

Doesn't this line look too soft ? Indy ( A HORRIBLE TEAM ) so far , with well documented (public) problems , vs. a Jet team that is well within the AFC East title ? I see the stats above , see the way the teams are playing , and say to myself , "indy is favored by 1 ???" . Kinda reminds me of the Pitt-minny game a while back , ,line BALLOONED up to 10 on gameday and minny (somehow) came up with the cover.

I have always believed that if a line looks to good to believe (here if you like the Jets) the floor falls out from under you.
The Jets have a good secondary and if the Colts give up their usual 31+ points, I cant see IND winning.

With a nice N Eng win today. Sets a nice win for the Jets up here. Indy will not light up the Jets as they did Atl last week. Back to normal. Jets win.
