I'm guessing almost every coach who has spent much time in the profession has heard stories about pedophiles in the business. Just as there's probably not a middle school principal who hasn't heard one about a teacher. Might be why coach K sympathizes with him. I'm sure a lot of college coaches interacted with the disgraced former head of the AAU over the years and heard rumors and never thought of doing anything. Sad day all around whoever thought Joe Paterno would be such a "lightning" rod?
