Halushki !

Just put on my favorite polka music (Frankie Yankovic and The Harmonicats) and cooked up a big pot of cabbage and noodles ! This is livin'! Wanna' live large? Throw in some diced baked ham, sweet sausage, onions and mushrooms.

("Wind up the accordian, Walter. I could polka all night long.")

Hey Mo!

My grandmother, God rest her soul, made fabulous pierogies. I'm tellin' ya', they were really good. Potatoe, sauerkraut and lekvar (prune butter).

My cousins wanted to learn so grandma said, "Sure, I'll teach you. Bring your aprons and be here at 4 AM!"

LOL
