Philly - Zuppa Bowl SUNDAY
Liked yesterday's card and didn't do much. Don't care too much for today's card so I'll do even less. Still looks like there's a few worthwhile races...
Race 1 - no. 3 looks best. If that one falters - 5 or 7.
Race 4 - no. 3 (15-1 M.L.) Trifecta facta; maybe even better than that.
Race 6 - nos. 8 and 9; Either CAN DO; nice odds on both as well. LOOK OUT if that no. 2 (20, 30-1 ?) gets an easy lead. Super Sub Special if so.
Race 7: hmm.. too many trifectas to list. I think the best thing to do is see if anything good happens first in the 3 races listed above.
STOP them Pats for one quarter at least, G-Men.

Thanks, Sportsholic If you made some moola with yOUR or my picks recently... be careful with what I'm picking lately cause, like some of the Philly dirt bombs, I'm out of form. Working on it and rest assured I'll be "Back in the Saddle" again soon.
BTW, just in case you're checking out Philly... no surprise thems ain't betting the M.L. fav in this 6th race. But, 15-1 :o Now, that's a mistake.. even with the lousy jockey on board. Don't sell that no. 1 short.. should hit the board at least. KEEP BETS SMALL if you're playing along.

Results...
Guess I wasn't the only "genius" watching Philly today, they knocked that no. 1 down to 9/2.
GOOD LUCK, with the BIG Bowl today; I'm sure there's no way you'll miss that today, Sportasholic. We got the wings, salad, and stuff ready for the barbie; sure missing them Philly Super Steak Subs though.

See who's running in the last race? A 45-1 (last race) who got DQ'd and placed 2nd. SOB.

Jimmy, didn't have those magic numbers at the PARX but did have some SUPERBOWL numbers that flashed $$$!
http://www.madjacksports.com/forum/s...d.php?t=472759
We'll get those Magic combos another day.
Good luck today at the PARX.

Mo stuff
GREAT, Hammy.
Unlike me, I'm sure you made that bet worth your while too.
The odds were tough on my "Pats have a scoreless quarter" thingy, so I only put enough down to win a measly $25.
But, it got better.. cause, about 10 min. before game time I checked that "sucker" bet and found that the odds got better (-190) and put more down to get the profit up to $50.
That was one hell of a S.B. and I KNOW you musta enjoyed it.
Today
Didn't post a thing cause (1) didn't like the card today that much and (2) there really isn't that much interest. Oh, and (3) I'm losing the "magic" lately
Guess what? I played 4 races. First up was the 3rd. Third race I only played ONE not so stinkin hoss (4 semi-stinkin dollars on each -> Win, Place, really), no. 3. No exotics or any others. NIce start fosho.
4th, I played the ole "2 hosses t/b with 2 others) that was a losah. AND no. 8 win/place (got the place payoff). Bottom line... a losing race.
Let's see...
.
.
7th race I like no. 7
and
.
.
10th is 5,9 t/b 3,8,10 and 5-9 boxed.
Didn't check for scratches yet.
Congrats again on the SUPER victory, Hammy.

Reason: Last race played was the 10th not the 9th

BTW, Hammy... I gotta see what the no. 5 looks like in the last race before I do anything. That one was on vacation.
If I see you're online, I'll post what I SEE, if not.. no sweat. Like you wrote, there's always another day and... tomorrow is (well, YOU know).

Jumbo,
Hope the 5 hoss looks dappled and ready.
Gotta go break time is faster than some horses I support.

Latest news
Lookers (not that great though) are :1,9, 7 (BTW, that one;s last name is Baeza or somthing like that)
Actually not much going on in the prerace.
No 5 looks so/so. That means that I'm sticking with my listed picks. May add one of the lookers, gotta see how odds go.

Wrap up.
I DO know what you mean about them break times. Used to be everyone ran out and smoked, now they run out and play with their electronic toys. Funny thing, I borrowed one of the girl's cell phone's to make a call on my break awhile back. When I got back from the breaks she told me that the cellphone smelled like smoke Hah, Hah, HAH.
Well, the exacta was on the same side of the "equation" again. No. 5 got 3rd (I also had her for win/place, Ugh).
Made enough on that that 3rd race today, but gotta get some more of the magic back.
Take it easy with the bet size, Hammy.. now that you're loaded after that S.B. You know what I mean, right?
Don't know about posting anything for tomorrow.
