I am an east coast guy and very passionate about my teams. And when attending a sporting event in our home parks- you better take your hat off and stand on your feet during our national anthem! Even in philly you do not boo, until later!! That is just sad to hear. Buddy of mine went to Dodger stadium a few years ago and witnessed many fans in blue not even stand up during anthem! Many did not show up til 3rd or 4th inning!! Do not mean to go on a rant and get off topic. but Chase Utley is playing on east coast for a good reason. Really do not mean to offend west coast guys, because I know there are 50 great fans for every 1 jerk off! I know philly gets bad wrap at times. But fans know when to boo and when not to. It is even Done as a joke at times. Nothing funny about doing it during anthem though!!!

I am a Niners fan who was at the game. Yes, we were booing when they showed Manning, Jacobs, etc on the screen. I admit, probably not the best to do that at that time but we were amped up and really passionate.

That all changed to complete silence and depression after the fumble.

Fans almost can't help themselves when they toggle back and forth between the "good guys" and the "bad guys".
