2012 MLB 33 Board Contest Signup
2012 MLB 33 Board
The rules are simple, the board runs for 20 weeks. Starting on Monday April 9 and ending Sunday September 2nd to allow the last 4 weeks of the season for 33 to be won. The cost is $100 for the season, $5 per week. There are 30 teams, hence 30 entries. Each entrant is drawn a team for the entire season. Scoring starts on Monday and ends each Sunday, if your team scores EXACTLY 33 runs during that time frame you win the weekly pot of $150. If there is no winner, the pot accumulates to the next week. Believe there was a $750 pot winner last year. If there are multiple teams who score 33 then the pot is split. In the event no team scores 33 in the final week then the last 4 weeks of the season will be used to determine the winner. If for some reason the baseball season ends and there is still no team scoring 33 for the week, the team or teams closest to 33 without going over will be the winner.
I will draw teams once the board is full or if the board is not full, on Monday April 9. If I do not get 30 members to sign up, there will be dummy teams and the weekly prize will be pro rated to the amount of teams entered. For example if 20 sign up there will be 10 dummy teams, so 20 teams would equal total pot of $2000 divided by 20 weeks of season = $100 weekly prize.
The board gives a little more excitement to the season especially if your favorite team is terrible. Any team can get hot and win the 33, unlike some teams in football who need 4 weeks to get 33, a poor baseball team can have a hot week. I have seen some real slug teams take down multiple pots. There will be a weekly thread with the results for all teams posted. You can email me at my handle here and add 73 at yahoo or email Jack for my email. Winners will be paid that week either by check or Paypal depending on what the winner requests.

This is a fun pool to get in to. I've been in it for the last 3 years. I've hit for $450 and $600 each of the last 2. Payout was always on time. BP does a nice job running this. Let's get 30 people signed up and good luck. There are no bad teams in this pool.

this is a fun pool to get into...there is no capping or thinking..just sit back and watch your team...what makes it fun is on Sat and Sunday your watching your designated team and hoping they don't score more then 7 or 8 runs on the last 2 days...or get shut out on the last 2 days...hope we get enough people in it..bleedingpurple does a great job running this....I wish I could say I won on week 4 and 12 but I was shut out for the season...but I was one run short or one run over many times....enough for me to comeback....I missed a few multiple jackpots by a run...looking forward for the season to start...
