If she is in a relationship she will just deny it and know that you are on to her. Do try and show her more attention or what ever you think she may need to bring you all closer together but this is going to eat you up being out of town all the time. Or you will be divorced like me, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy especially with small kids! I would snoop if it was me and not tell her a damn thing. She could be doing nothing wrong and hopefully that's what you find out.

Yeah it helps but I find people for a living so I've become very good at it. I have a friend that is in the same business as that guy and lives less than 5 miles from him. I can have him go at least kick him in the balls for you.
