Oh yes! The rally cry from OMR went out Thursday night and the Team responded by going 16-2-1 from Friday through Sunday to best DA MAN for the week: 23-18-1!

As customary lately, THE $PORT$ GURU got the Blue Ribbon again with a fine 5-2 week. YOU DA MAN Guru! Great job yet again. Co-ribbon winner for the week was THE CULPRIT who sported a 3-1 record. Great job, TC!

Close behind at 4-3 were both OLD MAN RIVER and BIG KAHUNA. Solid performances, congrats guys!

THE BIG CAT. ( JAGUAR ) posted a 2-2 result for the week.

Trailing him were: Legend at 3-4 and Tanqueray Teddy at 2-3-1.

Let's keep this run....well.....running!

Culp .. still scratching my head trying to figure out WHY Bob Baffert's horse CASTAWAY "went with" ENDER KNEIVAL thru 22 and change and 44 and change first and second quarters going a mile and an eighth and "committing suicide" by burning themselves up and leaving the race to the closers? Think it was close to the track record .. thought Bejarano would be smarter than that, but maybe his instructions were to take the lead early ??? Although, I guess Baffert was in Dubai and had a heart attack and is resting in the hospital ... guess he had to have some stents put in his heart.

Wow. Didn't hear about Baffert. I didn't get to see the race. I just got the email that my horse ran 3rd.

Yeah, the other Baffert horse Stirred Up ran third, but those fractions of 22 and 44 are great fractions for going 5f or 6f, but going 9 furlongs, there is no way you are going to win with fractions that fast early on .. it was kinda stubborn of both jocks, and I knew right away my plays were dead. It did finish #6-4-3 which were all those horses I was using in the exactas, and #6 was my second choice in the race, but my capping was for Castaway to track Knieval and take over the lead in the stretch, but when he went up and engaged and kept battling for the lead, it was apparent the stretch runners would decide this race.

Been watching the lines on this game tonight .. Wazzu was - 1 went to - 1 1/2 back to - 1, and now Pittsburgh is the - 1 1/2 pt favorite .. will Pittsburgh go all out tonight, knowing that the best two outta three goes back to Pittsburgh for a second and possible a third game?
