Semifinals... & Other Stuff
Likely going with Louisville +9 & Kansas +3... will buy points if required. See many reasons to back the chalk, but just a gut feeling both these underdogs rise to the occasion. Not saying Louisville wins, but think they keep it within single digits. Kentucky will have a week to come back down to earth and think they will. As for Kansas, just like how their big men have been playing. Feel like they'll be tough on Ohio State.
Pitt ML +100 for 4* - Realize this game is being played 3 time zones away, but since Motum and Aden are out for WASU, I believe Pittsburgh will own the boards and they also have the motive to win since another game is played @ Pitt regardless of this outcome. I think Pitt sweeps the Cougars.
UMass +2.5 (-120) for 5* - Stanford is considered the favorite to win the NIT, but I like the way the Minuteman have been winning. I also guarantee UMass will have the largest crowd in attendance which will help.
Minnesota ML +100 for 5* - Appears Sampson will be back and really like the way Minnesota is playing late in the year. UDub is talented, but playing 3 time zones away and I think the Gophers are the more physical team which will help on Tuesday.
Will finalize my Final 4 picks tomorrow.

Wow, brutal loss on Pitt as I should have grabbed the +1 and not done ML. Pitt had 2 chances to win at the end and missed both shots.
Kansas +3 (-120) for 8*
Louisville +9 (-120) for 7*

Kansas beat OSU at home 78-67 back in December when Sullinger was a late scratch. Jayhawks outrebounded the Buckeyes 30-27 but did give up 12 offensive boards to OSU which is a bit much considering Sullinger was out. Kansas shot over 50% from the field and behind the arc to really pace their offense that game.

Also Kentucky beat Ville 69-62 on Dec. 31 at home. Game was foul heavy with the refs handing out two technicals and 51 personal fouls. Neither team shot well and Kentucky controlled the glass easily.

Mercer +7 (-120) for 4* - Tough going against Utah State, but this Mercer club has really proven to be tough this post season & I think they stay close in a Championship game.
Washington State +10 (-120) for 3* - Pitt coming off a tough loss and not sure they'll have the desire to crush the Cougars and fly back West.

They wouldn't fly back West .. if Pittsburgh wins this one, GM3 will also be in Pittsburgh Friday night.

Thanks Old Man River... might back the Panthers on Friday depending on the line... I'm guessing Pitt -7 to -8 after tonight's game.

Took Minnesota Pick for 5* last night. Sorry I didn't post until just now where the line has moved. Still like the Gophers to prevail.

Also, made KU +3 (-120) for 10* total... complete homer wager, but still think they have a good shot!

Adding 3* to Louisville +9...
Louisville +9 11.7 to win 10* - Should have just waited....
Kansas +3 (-120) for 10* as well... let's go Underdogs!

Louisville 1st half +5 for 5* - Not going to touch the money line, but think this game is very tight at half. Louisville has heard so much about being the Underdogs and they will have a chip on their shoulder. Thinking Cards will either have a slight halftime lead or be down by 5 or less at half. I agree with most that Kentucky should win, but I see a 66-62 final or maybe 69-63 at worst. It will be close and would lean Under.
Kansas 1st half +1.5 for 5.5* - Jayhawks have been awful in the 1st half at times, but see them coming out ready tomorrow. Could be dead wrong based on Purdue and NC State games, but KU has the advantage at the post positions (I know Sullinger is awesome, but he doesn't have another guy like Withey blocking shots) and I also think KU has a very slight advantage at the PG position as Taylor could play in the NBA while Craft won't despite the fact he's arguably the best defensive PG in college hoops, but offensively he is a little challenged. Huge advantages for Ohio State at the wing positions, but Releford is a scrappy defensive kid and Elijah Johnson has been so clutch this tourney. Anyway, think KU has a small lead at half and finds a way to win this game. Could be dead wrong, but this KU team is already playing with house money. They'll come ready as Self is arguably the best X's & O's coach in the game.
Kansas ML +130 for 3* - Just adding a little more on KU. This team doesn't have the best talent, but they're physically tough! They play great defense and I really believe are going to shock the betting public and win tomorrow night... well hopefully anyway! I don't like their chances vs. Kentucky, but Kentucky still hasn't won tomorrow yet...
Hoping for a clean sweep which I could really use! Lose all these plays and I'm done for quite a long time...

Kansas +7 for 10* - Grabbed this line immediately after it was released. Think KU gives Kentucky a serious battle if they eliminate their turnovers and actually start the game decent which they rarely have done. I'm hoping the momentum from tonight's game gives the Jayhawks a little mojo out of the gate and actually love the fact KU lost to Kentucky earlier this year. Self is one heck of a coach and if KU can eliminate some dumb mistakes, I see this game staying close until the buzzard. Might even sprinkle a little on KU ML. Anyway, if I'm taking Kentucky, I bet huge on them 1st half along with the game. KU has lost the past 4 1st half games ATS in the tourney and been traditional slow starters while UK has been solid early... anyway, Rock Chalk Jayhawk!

Well, WTF! Sunday Plays!
Bulls +6 for 10* - Got a good line and will join the party... Rose out hurts, but line is still a little healthy!
Celtics +4 (-120) for 10* - Boston is 14-5 their past 19 SU and playing well, think they can win, but will grab the points!
Chicks:
Stanford +7.5 for 5* - Baylor is awesome, but Stanford could win this game.
Notre Dame Pick for 5* - UConn has the better coach, but ND wins with better players!

Adding:
Kansas 1st half +3.5 for 6* - KU has been brutal the entire tourney in the 1st half... for some reason, I think they come out ready and playing looser than Kentucky. Hoping it's very tight at half or KU has the lead.
Kansas ML +255 for 4* - Typically the team that covers wins the game. Hoping this trend continues!
