half of it?? you won't use 10 apps. i used cbssportsline's nfl scores last sunday when i was at the bar. i have no use for anything else i've seen 
oh, i have my stocks on there too and i might use the GPS if i ever need it.
can you think of something else i might be able to use?
no, i didn't get iphone, i got htc eris and there's a pile of shit on there too but i don't need it. |

a few more I used are ESPN radio,CNN,AccWeather, YouTube and
the most useful so far was Translator it worked good in Mexico I'll be using it here too 
The phone did give something to do on the plane it's more like a toy
I'm a little toasted can't think that well buts I think that's about it for me |

If you like NPR radio news, their app is great. Listen to archived shows or live stations across the country.
Great way to tune into a local station in your hometown if you don't live there any longer.
Mint.com for personal finance if you have a need.
If you are Bank of America customer, their app is very nice as well.
