Okay, Kentucky, enjoy your title, but how long until Coach K is busted for giving this kid money. He's a freak, one of the best HS players ever and narrowed his selections to Duke, UCLA, and Kentucky and his grades suck.... So he can't got to Duke with sh*tty grades and he's one of the best HS players since Lebron talent wise (probably not as good as Davis). Damn, I hate Coach Cal and his system will continue working, drop off money and grab the best players (don't know if he really does it, but guessing he does).

Anyway, screw this one and done bs.... not good for college hoops!

Shabazz has all of the critics saying it but the times I've seen him play he looks good but not great. To me he seems a lot like OJ Mayo. He was good very early in his life, everyone says he's the best and now he shoots it a ton and scores.


I wrote in another thread how Calipari does it with the players. He and World Wide Wes are buddies and that's how he gets the kids. Then the top kids move on to CAA and he gets his pockets lined. If anyone noticed WWW was right there last night.

I too would like to see the NCAA require kids to stay at least 3 years in basketball, just like they do in football and baseball. At least make the same rules apply to all college sports.

Guys, let not be ignorant about Calipari. I don't understand why people give this dude the benefit of the doubt and even question it...He's been caught everywhere he has been. He has his hooks in with CAA and WorldWideWes, yet people still wonder. Kentucky was so fucking desperate. It's not like they haven't had a proven cheater under payroll before, so this isn't nothing to them.

I give it 5 years MAXIMUM, and Kentucky gets this taken away from them.

Calipari is what is wrong and shows how crooked and hungry the NCAA is, no not teams, but the actual Athletic Association. Wouldn't shock me if there was dirty handshakes between UK and NCAA for Calipari's services.

Cal has been proven a crook in the past... Kentucky already had Sutton handing over suitcases of cash in the past.... so Calipari wouldn't do the same thing? Not saying it happened, but big brother has an eye on this guy. I still think Calamari won a crooked title, but can't prove it right now and will congratulate him regardless for winning. I mean you get 3 of the top 5 recruits in the nation despite being proven dirty in the past.... I don't know, but I would guess something dirty happened.

Think about it. I dont wanna hear the "well it's UK he doesn't have to pay" bullshit. Then why didn't Billy get all the phenoms? Memphis, really? How in the world did he get a bunch of superstars to go to Memphis when there's nothing special going on there before he got there.

I've been a fan of your avatar for years, Lee, but if you think the boosters at Pitt or anywhere else give a damn about anything but winning, you are delusional.

I also don't recall Cal ever being caught for any wrong-doing.

All colleges that have ever won anything have paid players. Even my alma mater WKU paid players when I was in school. They all had phat rides back then.

I don't condone wrong-doing, but don't live in a Utopia where you think the only crooked program in the country is UK. Pitt has been paying players forever too; they just don't know how to win when they do it.
