Finally just broke my sin city cherry!
I am at airport waiting to take red eye back home to PA. I won about 2 dimes through the week betting baseball and basketball. Gave it all back and then some playing blackjack and 3 card! Lost about 3 dimes til all said and Done. And gained 5-10LBs. Stayed at Palazzo and of course I loved the sportsbook. Beautiful suite and me and Mrs. had a great first trip to sin city. Seen some shows and even rented car and drove to valley of fire one day. I know one thing for sure.....Atlantic City might be 3 hour drivefrom our home, but I will NEVER spend another cent there!! Some things did seem expensive. But Disney World costs are high too! And Mickey don't give you a shot at hitting a progressive jackpot!!

I hate that gaining weight factor. It happens to me every time. Could be the 5-7 cocktails I have every day along with the two great bottles of Red. "You gotta love this town."

If it wasn't for the young crowd, vegas would be bankrupt right now. With that said, the big spenders will be back with the economy and there is no question who vegas will accommodate to first.
I think Vegas was really flat-lining in 2008 when a large amount of States were considering legalizing gambling for additional revenue. That would have killed the crowd.

good point thong. Either way, you are pissing your money away! I prefer sports bets for sure- usually can get 3 hours worth of entertainment for your hard earned money!! USUALLY.

i've never been to Vegas because of fear of flying and now due to illness cannot fly.
Yeah yeah i know the old vegas days are gone but it aint going anywhere.
I have a friend Bill who lived and worked in Vegas for years.
HE told head boss at AC casino you know what the problem is here as opposed to Vegas?
HE said What problem?
The way you treat YOUR Customers is pathetic!

Vegas is the same way now. They don't give two squirts about the gambler anymore.
