Visit to "Pawn Stars" shop

Monday 10 am....

Store is about a mile from Freemont experience on Las Vegas Blvd, right near the $19.00 a nite rooms, wedding chapels and an occasional street person, working girl.

Probably was prime property in the
day..

Parking lot was almost full, but no line to get in the door.

If you are expecting to see one of the stars, I think you will be disappointed. Lots of flunkies answering stupid repetitive
questions from tourist types.

Showcases full of stuff.. guns, jewelry, watches, coins, couple of superbowl rings, sports memorabilia,
Old comic books, sterling stuff, artwork, guitars on the walls...

In the back is a souvenir area Chumlee, Rick, shirts,-$20.00, ball caps, posters, playing cards.

I found the staff much less than knowledgeable, mostly parroting "knowledge" they picked up.

Worth a look as a sideshow, the really good stuff they probably salt alway, not on display..

They can charge 13% monthly on loans + penalties.

Think they stumbled into a TV deal and it snow-balled..good for them.
I kinda like the "old man" he understands the value of money.

The only transactions I saw was the hot dog vender outside in the parking lot....

There have been many threads on here about people going there.

It is rare to "catch the stars" when the cameras are off. They have made so much money from History Channel that they barely work anymore. When the cameras are on they are all there, but when they are not filming you most likely won't see em.

When cameras are rolling they sometimes charge admission for you to go into the store. Although I know they got some slack for that so it might not be the case any longer.

It may be the best pawn shop in USA to buy stuff, they will give ya a decent deal because they have made so much cash from the TV show.

Then again they rip so many people off so that also helps
