Mormeck is obviously there to collect a paycheck without getting decapitated. Head down and held the entire RD1.

Very nice beting weekend, to be honest I expected a few more opportunities, but there had been only a very few value lines.
Anyway, I hope that we get more betable fights during the next weeks and hopefully a little bit more forum attendance/participation, as with the exception on 1-3 players there is very little action here... despite the fact a lot of people reading the threads but dont participate. Its a pitty as the more infos / oppinions we get the better it is.
Cheers

Nice job buck. Told you that you were due. So now you hit one in a row; keep up the good work.

This used to be the premiere place to go for discussion of boxing. Lots of opinions and plays. Lets remember the greedy bastards that control this sport are causing it to lose following also. Lots of mismatches/shady decisions and such. But we still love it, so we do what we can.

with the emergence of twitter
it's just natural a lot less traffic to the messageboards
all the information you want can be had at your twitter feed, probably with less drama

I was reading it may have something with a TV deal to broadcast fights.
"Oscar de La Hoya created a buzz on Twitter, saying an announcement is on the way that will "shake the boxing industry in a major way." Some people I’ve spoken to believe the news surrounds a possible deal between Golden Boy and CBS for a TV contract to rival what UFC has done with FOX.
Others are hoping De La Hoya will disclose his plans for a return to the ring against Felix Sturm who is currently the 160 lb. WBA title holder. Many remember that the Golden Boy won a very controversial decision against Sturm back in 2004. Personally, with Sturm set to face Sebastian Zbik in Germany next month, which isn’t a walk in the park, I would bet on the former rather than the latter.

Heard about the announcement too, but have no clue what it will be about.
