Flynn agrees with Seahawks
Free-agent quarterback Matt Flynn has agreed to terms on a multiyear contract with the Seahawks, the team announced today.
The former backup for the Packers visited Virginia Mason Athletic Center on Friday and also made a trip to Miami to visit to the Dolphins on Saturday before deciding to join the Seahawks.
Flynn has started only two games in his NFL career, but he set Green Bay franchise records by passing for 480 yards and six touchdowns in the Packersí 2011 regular-season finale. Flynn, 26, was the Packersí seventh-round draft choice in 2008, when Seahawks GM John Schneider also was with the team.
