Sweet 16 (1 BIGG early)
I didn't think they could make this line high enough, although, I thought it would only be about 5.5. This should be a rout. The Bearcats are gritty, but just not talented enough to stay close to the Buckeyes for 40 minutes. I love OSu here...
Buckeyes -7 BIGGG and FH
Get on it.
I still can't get over the beauty of that Florida game. Hopefully people jump on the Bearcats bandwagon, the way they did Norfolk's. This is a mismatch. Cincy squeaked by 2 mediocre teams (well, 1 terrible, and 1 ok). Now, reality checks in.
Lay it with lots of confidence.

I feel the same way about Kentucky v Indiana! After losing to Indiana for their only loss until losing to Vandy in the conference tournament, I would think the powerful Wildcats will be ready to reek revenge on the Hoosiers! Any thoughts on this one. Line opened at 8 1/2, now up to 9 at Pinnacle. Thanks.

I completely agree with you. I will be on this one as well. My only hold back from making it Big is that Indy is actually quite capable of scoring in bunches; and doing it efficiently. Frankly, they are just a much more capable team than Cincy.
That being said, Kentucky should roll them. I will play the first half too because I don't think you will get a chance to add on to Kentucky with any value at halftime. In other words, I don't see a 'comeback' happening.
Lay it

What's your thoughts on Mich St/UofL?
I have a 55-1 future on the Cards and need to hedge it. Sparty at -220. I was thinking of adding UK and maybe even OSU ML to it to get a better price. Prob not smart to bring 2 other teams into the mix. Thoughts?

I don't think it is a horrible idea to bring another team into the mix. The buckeyes are NOT losing
That's the problem with big doggie futures (other than you usually getting screwed on the odds); they are really tough to hedge. That's why I like the futures market trading. You can sell your futures (disclaimer: I traded options and futures professionally for 8 years. Now I just do it for my PA).The kind you are talking about get you stuck with a bet that isn't going to win on its own merits. Hopefully you get a win here and Florida edges out Marquette and you could get a pickem to hedge out next round. I wish you luck.
I can definitely see Louisville winning this game. I will probably take the points. I see the game as a tossup. MSU has the best player, but Louisville should be able to keep it close all game.
Buckeyes ROLL!

Thanks for the feedback, I feel the same about OSU. The next hedge gets a little easier with FL or Marquette. As for this one.....if I throw in UK and OSU with Mich St I'll get around +120 on a ML parlay. Decisions, decisions.

OK, I don't have quite the time for a write-up, but it's not necessary. Just lay it.
The Bearcats are one of the least efficient offensive shooting teams in the country. They are sloppy and streaky. They are a tough-nosed gritty bunch and certainly won't fear the moment... that being said they are out-coached and out-classed here. They simply don't have the horses to keep up. You can't expect a poor shooting team like this to have the 3 ball keep carrying them. They wouldn't have even got by FSU without some timely 3s and boneheaded turnovers by FSU.
Ohio St. will not present those opportunites to them. They will knock down shots efficiently like they always do. They will play smart ball like they always do. They won't make the mistakes that Cinncy thrives on. Sully should get the best of Yates, and the Buckeyes should own the 3 point line on both sides of the ball.
This is a perfect setup in my mind. Bearcats getting a lot of late love based on a few good performances down the stretch. Buckeyes getting ragged as beneath excellent. Bearcats a HUGE public dog tonight with lots calling for an outright upset. They lay an 8 on the board (actually 7 to start) and it hangs there all week. People are biting on this one hook, line, and sinker. Frankly, if the public was all over OSU, it wouldn't change my mind, but this is certainly icing on the cake of a great matchup and setup.
Buckeyes take it to them early and often.
OSU -7 BIGGGGGG
OSU -4 FH BIGG
73-52
Thunderation

3-0 start. Let's finish
Was actually hoping this stayed within 10 at half so I could reload on 2nd half. But, no worries, I am loaded as loaded could be on this game.
I'm not stopping now. This is a mismatch.
Buckeyes -1.5 2h big

just wondering....where did you get that cincy was one of the least efficient offensive teams in the country?
kenpom has them ranked 49th in offensive efficiency in d1 (out of 350ish)....think he uses overall points per possession not shooting stats or points per game

Wow. I thought the only way this game gets or stays close is a 3 point barrage by a crao shooting team. It happened. Wow. Lots of game to be played, but wow. What a meltdown

I said least efficient 'shooting' offensive teams. I think they are ranked right near the bottom in fg%. Correct me if I'm wrong. Lots of game to be played.
That run was a ridiculous fluke. Buckeyes So much better I could puke

Kansas 78-64 is what I'm thinking... Jayhawks will be sky high after winning against Purdue plus over 40% of the crowd will be Kansas based on what I've read. They have been buying all the tickets in St. Louis which isn't a far drive. I also expect Robinson to come out ready to avenge his worst game this season. KU should roll I'm thinking as NC State is happy with their season like Cincy, etc. KU will be pissed after a horrid performance against Purdue and KU is fairly long which will give NC State problems shooting. Also, NC State will play a traditional lineup which doesn't work well vs. KU's height (Withey will have 5 blocks at least IMHO). Keep it up Jord. Don't think I'll fade you much moving forward or Mully for that matter. You guys are locked in for sure.

Appreciate the insight as always, D.
I agree with everything you said.
I don't trust ku as much as I do Ohio st, but I would be shocked if they didn't play great tomm. Ncst is hot like cincy, but don't have the horses. More tomm ...
Good luck.
Thx big daddy. Stay tuned.

Alright guys, huge night last night... Tonight is scary because I like all the faves.
I'm on KU -8 BIGGG
Baylor -6 Big
Kentucky -9 Big
I have not played the Carolina game yet, but I will.
I am still deciding on the size of these plays, but I have a lot riding on them already. I have many open parlays from yesterday's games that will fill out with these 3.
Good luck. Be back in a while...
