Wanted to use the Yanks as my POD who opened at -145, but sleepyhead was too slow to get movin' this morning, and they were up to - 160 which is a little too high for our limit, and they are - 155 for the first five innings, so I am going to do something that usually works against me .. going to play the 1H (- 1/2) -115 and hope NYY is ahead by at least a run headin' to the sixth inning.
This is opening day for the NY YANKEES and newly retired teammate Jorge Posada will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. NYY will face Ervin Santana who allowed 6 runs and 7 hits w/ 2 HR's in just 5.2 IP on Sunday's loss to KC .. Yanks have done well vs Ervin, as Robinson Cano is 11 for 32 vs him (.344) w/ 4 HR's, and Derek Jeter is 17 for 38 vs him (.447) w/ 3 HR's.
Both starting pitchers got off to bad starts, but Hiroki Kuroda was excellent vs the Angels LY, pitching 12.0 IP against them and allowing just two runs on six hits, and his last start against them was @ LAA in which he threw 7.0 full innings of shutout ball allowing just 3 hits w/ 4 K's and just one walk. His opponent starter E. Santana faced the Bronx Bombers twice LY, allowing 9 runs & 15 hits in just 13.0 IP vs. them with 7 walks in those 13 IP.
STARTING PITCHERS are automatically LISTED in FIRST FIVE INNINGS (1H) plays.
=============================
POD ( MLB ):
(1H) NY YANKEES -1/2 (-115) (Santana E. / Kuroda H.)
==============================
4 UNIT PLAY
NEED SOME FRIDAY the THIRTEENTH LUCK !!!

Last five times the Angels have visited NYY have produced 12, 16, 10, 12, & 11 runs.
9' OV nyy (+105) **
NYY - RL (+125) **
triple> nyy / 9' OV nyy / sd + rl --> 1.3*/ 5.3*
Bounce one off his noggin!

Thanks, boys .. Kuroda pitching nicely to cash!
BIG HORSERACE today in RACE 9 @ Keeneland .. $300K MAKER'S 46 MILE .. mile on turf for 4 year olds and up .. showdown between #5 GET STORMY and #6 TURALLURE .. Turallure is the best horse right now and should take the most money .. so, very short-priced & has four triple digit Beyers in his L5 races, but he has been off awhile and comes from the clouds, and this race does NOT have much early speed, so you might get a decent win price on GET STORMY who will want to go to the front and slow the pace down as much as possible. If no one tries to "go with him", he could take them wire to wire. The #2 PRSSDAY, the Australian horse I recently bet a couple of times has been sprinting .. not sure if they will send him .. but, if that kind of a race develops where GET STORMY is on a comfortable lead with relatively moderate fractions, Turallure might have nothing to "close into", and the exacta might be GET STORMY and one of the others, like the #1 Doubles Partner or #3 Hollinger, or #7 Data Link .. haven't played the race yet .. should be on TVG .. will watch the horses on the track and naturally the tote board to see the prices .. the exacta between GET STORMY and TURALLURE will be too-short priced .. just a heads-up for any interested in watching and/or betting on it.

Nice call, Culp .. pretty nice to cash your ticket in the fourth inning, barring something wierd from Mother Nature .. BoyZ cash another one!
They pushed Get Stormy too hard early-on for a fast first quarter, and he had a nice lead in mid-stretch but got leg-weary & passed in deep stretch. : (
