winthrop solid, but they beat an ND team that shot 4-13 from the line (30%) and 4 of 22 from 3 point range (18%), wayyy below their average.

winthrop themselves shot 52% from the line, a team that on the season struggles from the stripe, shooting 62%.

now they run into an oregon team, that shoots 75% from the line (shot 88% vs miami(oh)), and 38% from beyond the arc.

ducks had their wake up call vs the redhawks.

0-4 friday, 4-6 for the tourney, took saturday off 'cause i sucked so bad friday.

forgot to mention. winthrop got the crowd behind them vs ND on friday. won't happen vs oregon, as a pro duck crowd will be in spokane.

Solid Pac 10 team playing in Spokane vs. a smaller school off an upset, I like Oregon. Texas will throttle USC in the other game, Durant is the best player from the midwest (Big 12, Mo Valley) since Larry Bird 25+ yrs. ago!! GL Toto

Have to agree on Ducks... Winthrop already had their big win while Ducks had their wakeup call.

winthrop is for real they are not just a big underdog, their best player Jenkins was very off in round 1. he lights it up from 3 pt...bradshaw and martin are also very good. notre dames shooting from the FT line dosent justify them being down by 20 pts at one time in the 2nd half. winthrop wins this IMO but gl on your play.
