My life masquerading as Spongebob Squarepants for the post Halloween week is over :mj07: Bad decision on my part but grandpas do crazy things for their grandaughters. Watching hours of the hideous TV show with the little ones last week rubbed off on me and I followed the path of the 'squares' in week #10 and paid dearly.
I swore off (and again.....I swear alot
) playing any games this week and was just going to just play a couple teazers (which have been very profitable for me the last couple years) but once again those lines have weaved their way upstairs and the addiction continues.
Hoping to erase the haunting memories of last week's 2-6 showing (and the Detroit game was double hit) :banghead: with this week's hopefuls.
Daunte Culpepper returnig to the dome should give him enough incentive to inspire this pitiful Oakland team. Minny's questionable qb (why can't it be Bollinger again?
and the absense of AP should help level out this one. Fargas is averaging 6 ypc on the road and with Curry having a decent year and hopes of Daunte displaying his dome skills of seasons' past I have a gut feeling. Never thought I'd back the Raiders this year but I'll take the 5.
Don't like taking road favs but my $$$ are on TB, Clev, and StL :scared this Sunday. As I wave good-bye to my greenbacks I'll once again be questioning the "why do I do that?" :mj07: If only these contributions were tax deductible
I should know better than to take the darling pick of the country with the Saints. Why I'm not running in the opposite direction on this one after my son said he loves New Orleans today can only be blamed on my Swedish heritage :jump:
Always a believer in the belief that a team is not as good or bad as their previous showing. The Lions were a big disappointment last week (as were the Giants) but I really like the way Detroit plays at home. Kitna needs this one for his brash pre-season prediction and I'm backing him here with that talented receiving corp of his. Just hope his league leading passing completion percentage can trump his fumbles and the number of times he's been sacked :mj09:
NFL Season Record 49-34-7 (59% / +22.5 units)
Oak +5
Clev -2.5
TB -3
NO +1.5
Det +3
STL -3
Have a great Sunday :mj06:
