Money should be there instantly but there are confirmations they go through, maybe that's what you're talking about.

After you do this a few times, you'll have it down pat.

If you use betagame you will have to email them at accounts@betagame.ag to have them send you a receive address.

    What's the purpose of blockchain.info?

Can't you send money directly from your wallet to the books?

No, they will ban you for sending to sportsbooks.

You definitely have to cut and paste the address or you'll mess something up. When I transferred from the USD wallet it was in my blockchain before I got to my blockchain account. Maybe your first transaction takes more time? I have no idea.

Glad it worked out for you.

Where did you send to from coinbase? Blockchain is another wallet.

So I am really dumb. Can someone explain exactly how you get it from the Bitcoin Wallet on Blockchain.info into the Circle.com account? I can't seem to figure it out..

Get circle receive address. Send from blockchain to circle receive address.

Hey Jack - requested my 1st Bitcoin withdrawal this afternoon. The book shows a status of paid. How long does it typically take for it to reach my blockchain account?

    Thanks

I can now answer my own question. It hit my blockchain after about a 2 hour wait. It's now pending at circle. Boom

Sorry man, I was running with the wife all day. Some books you get it very quick, others take some time. Once they hit the send button you get it immediately.

Now you have to get the bitpay card and get your bitcoin sent there and withdrawal the cash. Forget circle. There's a thread in general about the bitpay visa card.

I'll definitely take advantage of the Bit card. Thanks for all the info, sir.

The bitpay card is great! Sadly enough, I don't get to use it much.

I was late getting into the bitcoin game and have used it for about 17 months. When people talked about it, with the terms, and try to explain block chain, it was a turnoff. It seemed complicated. I'd rather go through more cumbersome methods, which more risks were involved.

If there is anyone of you, like me, who has the same thoughts, once you tell yourself I'm doing this, you will laugh yourself silly at how easy this process is. Possibly None of you are like me and just win, ha, so there isn't a need to make many deposits.

Yes the price changes, blah, blah. I don't even bother with that. Buy coin, send it off. No worries about taking a noticeable loss.

Not to scare anyone away, but circle has been getting better at sniffing out accounts, that even use a block chain addy, as a middle man. I'm not saying it will happen, but it isn't a rarity anymore. If that happens, they won't seize your funds or coins, rather they will tell you they are closing your account in two weeks. From my personal experience, and others that I've read, it is mostly tied to transactions with nitrogen sports. So you could do circle to block chain, to nitrogen, and they may still get you. This isn't to dissuade, because averages say you will be ok, but it could happen.

If it does, there are other ways like coinbase, which is just like circle. Liberty x and local bitcoins, if you've gotten zapped by circle or cb.

The purpose of my reply is to point out I'm dumber than a box of rocks, tech wise, and more of a traditionalist. If I could do it, you could.

    Thanks.

How about when cashing out? Can you cash out directly to Circle or Coinbase or Bitpay card, and none of them will ban you for receiving money from a sportsbook?

  20. #50
I'm confused about the whole cashing out process.

Do I want to use circle or a bit pay visa?

Also, when the money finally gets to my bank, isn't the bank going to question me about it? Especially if it's like 5k to 10k at a time?

Thanks Jack or anyone who can answer me.

    1. Had my first cash out today. Sent funds to Blockchain.

    2. Then, from Blockchain, sent half to Bitpay (so I can use the Visa debit card) and half to Circle (withdraw to my bank). Never done this before, so just testing out the process. So far so good.

Thanks for sharing and keep us posted about the bitpay card. Any negatives, positives, whatever.

So far, so good. Used it at Walmart, Coffee Bean, Firehouse Subs, and made an online purchase on Black Friday. Works like any other Visa card.

So go to blockchain, get address, input address on 5dimes I assume, then $$ sent to blockchain, once in blockchain I can transfer to circle (are they auto tied??), once in circle transfer to checking account. Are these steps correct? Have both accounts setup....

    Cheers, scratcher.

Circle is no longer in bitcoin so use coinbase or a different one. Or get the bitpay visa.

Okay, coin base will be tied to checking a/c, same way as circle? Sorry, realize I am responding to old thread.
