    bitcoin withdraw money missing?

so i rwequested a withdraw via bitcoin from gtbets on 4/1 and as of 4/6 it is not in my wallet? i called gtbets and they sent it on 4/2 and i called coinbase on 4/6 and no record of a deposit is there?

has this happened to others with bitcoin withdraws?

how do i get this resolved?

    thanks, EF

Wow, I have no clue. You have to get the address from them that they sent to and check the address that you gave them to send to. Then compare in your wallet. That's a mess I'm glad I never had to face yet. I have gotten many BTC payouts from GTBETS with no problems.

They can definitely find the address they sent to and when they sent it. The address has to match the address you provided them to send to.

update..so here's the order of what i did..

went to COIN BASE requested a bitcoin address to receive money..

went to gtbets requested a payout and gave them the address COIN BASE gave me..

gtbets sent the money to that address..

COIN BASE claims the address does not exist, even they are the one's who provided it to me???? and yes I COPY AND PASTE THE ADDRESS ALL THE TIME..

    HERE IS THEIR RESPONCE:

Thank you for contacting Coinbase. Please note, cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible, which means these funds cannot be canceled, reversed, or recovered by the exchange from which they are sent. If you sent cryptocurrency to an incorrect address, Coinbase is unable to recover these funds.

For any future transactions, we recommend sending a small test send prior to sending a significant amount of digital currency. Please feel free to reach out with any further questions.

    Kind regards,
    Coinbase Support

If the address does not exist then GTBETS would have gotten an error when trying to send it to that address. You can't send to an address that does not exist.

Maybe, just maybe, GTBETS assumed that the bitcoin was sent but whoever sent it did not see that it was an invalid address and assumed that it was sent when it was not.

You will have to call GTBETS and tell them that the bitcoin they say they sent can not be possible because it was an invalid address.

Tell them you have confirmation from your wallet provider (proof) that it was an invalid address and they still have your bitcoin. It's probably somewhat complicated, but GTBETS will be able to find that your transaction was never sent. Provide them with the day and time that your requested the payout. Any information you think might be helpful for them to find your transaction that was attempted.

If they don't cooperate with you then you can send me your account ID with every single detail of the transaction and I will get with them to try and help.

Be careful, coinbase has a pretty strict no gambling policy, I've gotten emails from them before for sending and receiving money from a sportsbook.

I'd invest in a hardware wallet and send your BTC to that address and then from there move it to coinbase.

I meant to mention that too but forgot when posting my reply. Never send BTC from book to Coinbase, use a middle wallet. I use blockchain or my Ledger. I won't use Coinbase and haven't had to take out recently. I was using bitpay but can't now. Spend Card limits are too low. Not sure how I'm gonna get cash out now, still looking around every now and then when I'm thinking about it. I was hoping bitpay would be running again by now. Any suggestions, GoDawgs?

You should be able to trace the transaction here:

    https://www.blockchain.com/explorer

There is no way GTBETS sent it to a valid address without you being able to trace it on the blockchain.

GoDawgs...Sorry for not responding but I am not looking to offload any BTC P2P. Thanks for the offer.

I like being able to pull a few dimes here and there as I used to with Bitpay.

It may just force me to hold it and as of now I prefer BCH over BTC.
