My buddy bought draftkings at around 15.00 when it was DEAC,,The other day it merged and went to DKNG for the symbol. Went to 20 bucks I believe and is now at 19.35....Funny thing is he had zero idea they offered legal gambling,,He thought they were all still fantasy sports.

DKNG went public on friday... picked it up at $17.75. Once football season picks up this stock should do well. They partnered up with Bufffalo Wild Wings.. so who knows.. maybe betting kiosks in every store???

    DKNG is Draftkings Inc.

Well, it's 3-1 vs my short idea. I'll hold off the short but I can't imagine those stocks going up this year. They will post bad 1Q and 2Q numbers. Outlook should be good after 2Q earnings if everything is back up and running again. Let's just get this annoying crisis out of the way and get back to some sort of normal.

Think I agree on casino sector stocks taking longer to rebound, but believe airline related should be a great hold. Bought Delta and Spirit the other day both of which have done pretty well since purchase. They are at lows they have not seen since 2013 and 2011 respectfully. I don't day trade as I know little to nothing about the finer points it takes to do so. I am much more of a Macro vs Micro guy, so I trade that way. Travel industry(as well as others) will rebound and do so in a big way compared to current prices. If willing to buy and hold for a few years it is a no brainer to me.

Couple of others I have bought are Beyond Meat, Plug, Nio, Shop, and was .63 freaking cents away from filling my Teledoc order today. Simply put, if this doesn't drastically kickstart the plant based meat industry then it's a bust. My Chinese electric car companies are more speculation at this point but if one of them hit could be huge. Shop is essentially a website/shopping platform for small businesses. If this doesn't teach mom and pop the importance of web based sales nothing will. Lastly, virtual doctor visits are now here to stay. Teledoc is only publicly traded company specific to this.

Many more that I have been contemplating but bottom line is the past couple of months have given great value for some sectors and completely opened the door for others.

Bought PM yesterday at 74.98. Should have jumped on it last week. It will go to $87 then I'll sell wait for a drop buy again. Played around with this one for a while.
Disclaimer: I sold all my PM about 5 years ago. This is just short money. I used to work for the company.
GE will get back to $9 or $10 not a stock I like to put money in though. Those poor people that had their life savings in that company got screwed.
I can't put a nickel in oil too many of my friends will never see their money back after the drop over the past decade.
I lean towards the sin stocks even in bad times people smoke and drink.

what do you guys think of Draft king DKNG Haven't bought a stock in a long time . But yesterday just sold our house in NY that we paid the mortgage off 15 years ago ...I have already 401's and a few more retirement money makers was thinking about putting maybe $2,000 on a stock
any of you experts can give me some pro's and con's on Draft king ..I do know the risk of buying stocks ..also thinking about a prop bet with the Phiilies winning the world series or maybe the Giants winning the super bowl... think Draftking might have a better chance to come out ahead..

I've been dabbling with some lower price stocks for fun....

    IBIO:

iBio is an innovator biologics company developing therapeutics and vaccines for the betterment of human and animal health, including a virus-like particle (VLP) -based vaccine against SARS-CoV-2. iBio’s subsidiary, iBio CDMO is a global leader in plant-based manufacturing. It’s FastPharming™ and FastGlycaneering™ platforms provide contract development and manufacturing services via its 130,000 square foot facility in Bryan, Texas. The speed and scalability of FastPharming make it an ideal choice for other innovator companies who want to rapidly produce COVID-19 biologics.

Pick this company up a month ago at 0.87, watched it run up over $1.50 and didn't pull the trigger.....This little gem has been doing some nice spike volumes/price over the last few weeks...Went down to $1.00 and started moving again yesterday....This morning it's started upward again, put a sell in at $1.23 and it filled, price did rise higher but is settling back down again....

I'm going to place a buy order back at $1.05...Fun stock to watch, once a vaccine is made they stand a chance at producing....Worth a look....

Back in the mid 80's I purchased shares of a Maine Company called "Systems Assurance" with a group of coworkers....System Assurance made a component for Toll Booths.....

Back then you needed to call your Stock Broker to place orders or check prices....SA was a small penny stock, but huge to us (group at work) that were investing, Stock ran about .25 at time time.....

We would call this poor guy 4-5 times a day getting updates..The local News Stations would post daily opening/closing numbers on the 6pm report....The papers the next day would also post the numbers as well.....

One day I even stopped by the plant and went into the office...The lady at the front asked if she could help me?....I said "I'm a shareholder and just stopped by to check things out....LOL--BMOC

Well, our little Maine Company went out of biz in the late '80, every time I drive South on I95 I see that same building from the road and chuckle about our investment that went belly up.....

wow Draftking up this morning up 3.07 % to 28.44
think this stock is going to really go up once the NFL,baseball etc starts playing people are betting korean baseball, darts in russia etc I liked the stock just as a fantasy stock but its made in roads in betting on line with several states esp New jersey..
it opened up at 16 .2 weeks on the OTC market I bought shares at 17-18 and more at 25...my daughter bought it at 17.. it took me 3 days for e-trade to accept my money

I would never recommend a stock esp in these crazy times but we all know sports betting here ..and Draftking I think will go up once the sports seasons start ...if people are betting Russian darts what happens when the Dallas Cowboys play the NY Giants ..
my problem is I marry stocks should buy low sell high
anyway do your own research on draftking DKNG ...I don't mind taking Rider -6 over Iona in hoops and Iona wins and covers just another loss for box but I don't want someone here saying box said buy draftking at 25 and its now at 5

I did the same thing with a couple buddies back in the 80's. It was for a movie stock that was in production. We thought we were going to get rich. Bugged them over the phone many times a day for a quote. It never made it and we lost it all.

IBIO broke through a couple of walls the last couple of days....Trend has been a sell off after a $1.40ish high, time will tell.....
