Thanks Trucker, felt good about that one and hit it rather hard. First time I think Germany started Gnabry, Sane and Werner upfront. They will give any defense in the world fits and are the future of this team.

    One for today:

    England/Belgium BTTS -132

I think we are getting a good price for this bet. Belgium is ridiculously hard to shut out and their defense has been shaky so we should see at least 1-1.

And since we have some money to play with a WTF BTTS parlay:

    England/Belgium
    Poland/Italy
    Czech/Israel
    Turkey/Russia

This one pays +1155 as most lines are low and Poland/Italy is + money, so it is unlikely, but looking for some 1-1 games.

Fucking England, the most overrated national team in the world. I rarely bet on them, because they are all hype and no action, but I thought we would get a goal. Should have just went with Belgium as the posted play.

As an aside I had a few soccer winners, including Belgium, in a parlay with a couple MLs in the NFL and that hail mary by Arizona to win cost me a big parlay win. I blame the English for that also!!

I put this parlay in for Germany tomorrow, it is a square play and a total long-shot but sometimes all the better teams win, especially after the international break:

    Bayern -1.5
    Leverkusen -.5
    Wolfsburg Pk
    Leipzig Pk
    Dortmund -.5
    Gladbach -.5

    This pays +940

    One more for tomorrow:

    Atletico Madrid Pk +109

I will gladly take the home team in a Pk at plus money. An Atletico team that has not lost at home in 23 matches against a team that has won just one of their last 5 league games. If that team was not named Barcelona, Atletico would be a big favorite.

Atletico came in for a nice win yesterday.

Only one lay today for me:

    Freiburg TT Ov 1.5 -145

Mainz sucks. They beat them 3-0 and 2-1 last year. Freiburg has their own issues, but Mainz is worse so I expect a similar result today.

I debated whether to post the over or the TT, so guess I made the wrong choice. I still think this can come in, Freiburg can not play any worse than they did in the FH.

Curious if anyone does Draftings daily fantasy for soccer?

I am starting to get into it and it is tough. My nephew got me into the daily fantasy for football and I am actually doing rather well. I like the tier games as I find it easier than building a team, but building in soccer is harder than I thought. Also finished second in one of the Masters contests.

I really was not aware how much money was to be made with this stuff.

Yeah, that is exactly how I was. But, now I have won about 1k over the last month, so I figured what the hell. I really think some of soccer games take a bit of skill. Plus, I think it actually helps with my capping as I find myself digging into more individual stats for the clubs. I am capping all the CL games anyway so most of the work is already done. I can see how this could be done for a living as there is definitely advantages to be gained by doing the work.

Two CL games were put in yesterday. Sorry, I thought I posted them, but forgot to hit send which is happening more and more lately.

    PSG -160
Lazio -118 (this line got hit hard overnight)

    More later

    Only adding one more play:

    Dortmund TT Ov 2.5

They should be able to put up 3 on Brugge at home plus they really need to win this one so I expect a good effort.

I know PSG is pricey but this is a game they really need to win. If they lose they are in serious danger of not moving on. Plus, Leipzig does not travel that well. Remember they lost 5-0 at Man U.

I still like Lazio at the elevated price as Zenit does not travel well.

I do not like the team Barca is starting in this game, so I am taking a shot with Kiev +336.

    I love CL!

3-0 on the primary plays and big parlay still alive. Small Kiev play was stupid, but who cares.

I have this parlay in for tomorrow (will continue buying these lines a bit as it is working):

    Gladbach TT Ov 1.5
    Ajax TT Ov 2
    Bayern TT Ov 2.5
    Inter/Real Ov 2.5

    Pays +371

I like Gladbach tomorrow as this is a very important game for them as they have games with Inter and Real left. If they win, all they will need is a draw against Inter to advance.

Gladbach -200 (or you can play the -1 -124, but I am on the ML)

Today played out like I thought with all the favorites winning. I think we will see much of the same tomorrow.

I went a little nuts today with combinations on the plays listed above. Nothing really added just different combinations.

Hoping for a big day so I can do some online shopping tonight!!!

Kid is crushing it also, so everyone should be thankful they are making some money.

Happy Thanksgiving to the small, but great, group of soccer Madjackers!!!

Thanks Bason...I have been following you and Kid and making money. I stumbled in here and found that I love the place. It's like finding a new vacation spot that nobody knows about or they over look..

Still trying to learn everything and no way would I ever feel ready to cap a soccer game.... But sure do like getting winners.

Good luck today.... Thanks again and have a great Thanksgiving

ohhh wow Turks is something else. I happened to go there for 5 days, paid for by my Company as part of a Sales Achievement reward with 10 others. The place has some of the best beaches in the world, but damn is it ever expensive. I don't know if I could go there and foot the bill. I remember 2 sandwiches, with 2 beers, with tip and all the taxes would cost easy 80USD They want to keep it low key, and exclusive and weed out any riff raff , by that I mean the common joes like me who aren't multi millionaires. They sure had their handful with 10 raging Sales Exec's and their spouses overtaking the place in the height of the Raptor playoff run...Ahh the memories.

Anyhow Good Luck everyone in Champs League pulling for some scoring in a bunch of these affairs - Shak/MON, Inter/Real, and will tail Kidd and Bason with Gladbach , cheers.

Iíve done it off and on with varying results. Trying to formulate a good strategy. But, I find the 50/50s the best. You only need to beat a little better than half the other people to win. I use the over/unders on games to guide on which teams attackers/defenders to target.

Gladbach never in doubt. Have I said how much I like CL.

That was a big one for me, the rest is gravy. Guess the nephews are getting new laptops. Of course they want PS5's but of course they build the hype and do not supply them once again.

Very close to a huge day yesterday. Vidal is an ass. He does not get thrown out I likely hit my bigger parlay for the day. Still a good day and another very successful CL.

    Have one parlay for Euro:

    Leverkusen TT Ov 2.5
    Rangers Pk
    Spurs TT Ov 2.5
    Hoffenheim -1

    Pays +500

German plays are my favorites for the day. Also have them by themselves.

Yes it was, too bad Rangers gave up two late goals, but that is why I played them in a Pk, but still a great day. Both German games hit as well as the parlay just at a lower payout.

    Great week!!

    Happy to help!!

Busy weekend so not much time plus I do not like to bet much after CL week especially when we win big. I did put one total square parlay in:

    Dortmund -1
    Leipzig -1
    Gladbach -1

    Pays +161

I also used Gladbach in a couple football parlays.

Schalke is the gift that keeps on giving.

    One play for tomorrow:

    Leverkusen -130

Have to go with the hot team here. They had an easier Euro game so hoping to see a strong effort. I also like the TT Ov 1.5.

Should have stuck to my guns and stayed away from CL and Euro teams. The hangover is even more exaggerated this year as many of these teams desperately need the money they can get from advancing. The schedule is taking a toll on many teams.

I do not love tomorrow's games as much as last week and it is going to be expensive to make some of the plays I like, but that is how it goes sometimes:

    Salzburg/Moscow Ov 2.5 -185

    Real Madrid -289

    Atletico Madrid -109

Salzburg has a chance to move on and it is reflective in this line. They have played really well so far, and while I like them to win, I like the over more as I think Moscow will score.

Real is a risk and a safer bet at -1, but I am laying it here. There is a reason this line is so high even after they lost again in the league this weekend. This is an absolute must win game against a team they lost to at home. Shakhtar is one of my favorite teams to bet on, but since that win, they have not played well at all. I am expecting a strong effort and a win from Real.

Hard to believe Atletico is minus money against the hottest team in the world but this is a situational play with the added benefit that Atletico has a history of playing them well. Bayern has the group wrapped up and has Leipzig this weekend. As such, they have left at least 3 starters at home, including Goretzka, Neuer and Lewandowski. Their focus is definitely not on this game while Atletico needs a result.

Gladbach just needs a draw to secure their spot so that is a very intriguing game to watch and see how they handle the pressure. Moving on for them is an extremely big deal and they are playing some great soccer right now. You also have Ajax on the road who has not lost in 11 straight CL games, including 5 straight in England, against a Liverpool team that is hurting some right now. Trying to limit my plays some so I will include them in the following parlay:

    Salzburg Ov 2.5
    Real
    Gladbach +1
    Atletico Pk
    Ajax +1.5

    Pays +477
