    Bearcats

Sam Houston -13.5 over Incarnate Word **
Bearkats qb Schmid threw for 531 yds and 5 td's vs Incarnate the last time they played. maybe it was 2 years ago haven't played any of these football games and still confused on how they are playing. small play

Bearkats have a outstanding qb and solid rb's and wr's UIW has a pretty good offense with a good qb but its defense will have trouble containing Schmid who can throw and is elusive in the pocket. Bearkats defense is way better then UIW's . Should be a high scoring game but Sam Houston wins and covers

Sam Houston -13.5 over Incarnate Word ***

Game is 11 am central time .. early game

Sam is 5-0 and if they win this they are in the FCS finals.. so look ahead could be dangerous. Their last 2 games they struggled beating McNesse St 27-13 the game before they also struggled. But with the conf title on the line and a solid qb in Schmid and running backs and wide receivers that can break open think ICW defense is in trouble. ICW offense is led by a frosh qb Ward who has broken every passing record at the school . He has over 22 td's in 5 games . He has Brown a rb who avgs 160 yds and a wr in Ferrell who last week caught 7 passes for 144 yds.

ICW offense isn't the problem they can't stop anyone.. Since Morris there coach who has been there the past few years ICW has ranked No 1,9 and 33 in total offense in FCS.. and there record is 14-14.. its there defense and this year and has already allowed 42 pts avg and over 500 yds per game.

Last time these guys met Schmid had a field day winning 42-26. And since Schmid has had 2 avg games before think with the title on the line he goes off. Sam has a decent defense and will be able to slow down Ward and co but Bearkats will be to out in front for ICW to wager a comeback. And even if they do score and make it close Sam will score and control the clock since ICW cannot stop anyone..

Sam wins 42-14 Schmid throws for 370 yds and Sam rushed for 5 tds. ICW defense couldn't stop the Bearkats despite ICW's freshman qb Ward who was 24-34 for 300 yds Bearkats are in the final 4 and play next week ..Think Bearkats could win the national championship..will keep everyone posted since so many are so interested in this lol

Sam houston -9.5 over Monmouth ***

Sam beat Incarnate pretty handily. They have beaten a few ranked teams already and get to play at home. Monmouth is a fegular in the FCS playoffs making their 3rd appearance in last 4 years. Hawks have some solid offenses players led by last years freshmen of the year in 5'10 running back Farri and this years freshmen of the year in qb Muskett. Hawks have only played 3 or 4 games and Farri leads the nation in scoring offense having 9 td's in 3 games. Muskett at qb has big numbers too . Off line protects him and open ups holes for the rb's. Houston defense will have its hands full with Hawk attack.. But its Monmouth defense that will be the problem. Although defense has played good so far they haven't seen an offense like the Bearkats . To many stars esp at qb in Schmid. He can throw, run, is elusive in the pocket, throws that shuttle pass.. Very hard to contain. He has some weapons in noah Smith at rb and Ezzard,Chrest and Jefferson. All can catch and run. Smith hits the hole and is quick. Bearkats play uptempo and it will be the 1st time Monmouths defense will be challenged. Bearkats defense is very good but Hawks do have an offense esp with Farri getting free.. Think this could be a high scoring game but Schmid with his OL protecting him ,solid rb's and wr;s will be to much for hawks defense to stop. Can Monmouth defense slow them down. Don't think so .. Bearkats get to play in Hunstville at home.. Crowd might not matter much but Monmouth does have to travel .. think Bearkats get a double digit home win. win by 13 or 14 points. Don't think its a blowout because Hawks do have a good OL,outstanding rb,good TE and solid wr;s.. but Bearkats have to many play makers ..

line has moved this morning to -12.5 but still think Bearkats win big.. Stopping Schmid at qb is still the hawks problem ..Bearkats have to many weapons around him and if you watch this kid he can pass, run, step out of the pocket, throw shuttle pass and more importantly they have 2 or 3 plays designed for him to run.. Not bootleg either but he can do that also.. Two games ago he had a bad game and threw 2 interceptions. .. but with the national championship in sight he will be focused ..think sam houston wins the national championship and covers today games.. Monmouth in trouble .King Rice there basketball coach is back after not getting the North carolina job If I recall King Rice was a big time football player at Bingington HS in NY .. but since he can't suit up his Hawks go down big

Sam Houston won 21-15 over Monmouth but my bad lost the line at -9.5 ..poor job on my part

Schimid was 12-24 with 133 yds passing and only 13 yds on the ground. Hawks did a great job containing him Bearkats defense gave up big yardage on 3 Hawks wr;s 79,88,and 94.. Muskett the Hawks qb had a good game 29-46 for almost 300 yds. Thought Bearkat defense would slow down Monmouth.. They did hold them to 15 pts but I thought Hawks defense would have problems stopping Bearkats offense I was way off my bad

South S Dak St did win 31-3 and did cover. Holy Cross only threw for 86 yds and there only strength was rushing the ball. They had only 112 yds on the ground. Jackrabbits qb Gronowoski threw for 3 td's and Jackrabbits dominated from the get go. went 1-1 but lost the Bearkats game sorry if I steered anybody wrong will bounce back
