Don't post too often but I feel the CAA is league where I can make, and have made the last couple of years, some money. So I thought I would share. If you want to add anything please do...with the play or against it...that's the point of the forum

Saturday
Northeastern -4.5 over JMU. I bought half a point because the line moved on me while betting and I got pissed. It was -5. JMU is ok....and it's not an easy place to play. But Northeastern is just better. They have a big guy (James) that doesn't have much beef, but is athletic and they have a pro guard who is very good. JMU will win some games this year, but not Northeastern's in the early CAA game. I think NE wins by 8....but lead by more during the game

Hofstra and Delaware.
Delaware with the points +12.5. This is a rivalry game. These two programs do not like eachother. It goes back to the days of Jay Wright and Brey. This used to be the premier matchup in the old America East...now Hofstra has taken the next step to the CAA elite (or at least close) and Delaware is hanging in the middle. I think the line is inflated with hofstra beating a terrible St. John's team the other day. Delaware will probably keep this within the number and lose by 7 or 8. By the way..Hofstra guard Stokes is a pro (probably) and Agudio can play. Their guards are good.

Drexel and Lasalle
I think I'm going to stay away. Lasalle's got a pro and Drexel has been Jeckel and Hyde. I think Bruiser gets his guys to play hard but I'm not sure about him as a coach overall..not convinced yet. I see that most are on Drexel....which kind of makes me want to go Lasalle....

looking at WM and Towson now.

WM -4.5 over Towson

Like this play. Towson is bad and has been bad for years. They have better talent this year but still stink. WM is kind of in the same situation but have better talent IMO. Towson has NO homecourt advantage....terrible place to play. Today is family day there so they must be trying to build the fan base with 2nd and 3rd graders. WM is coming off a loss to UNCW who jumped out quickly on them. WM played well in the second half and I look for them to do that again. Towson hasn't really beaten anyone this year and until they prove that home court is an advantage they shouldn't get any points thrown their way for it. This is also WM last game for the next couple of weeks because of a school policy that doesn't let them play games during exam times. A little more encentive to not want to go 0-2 in league, losing to Towson the worst team in the league with 2 weeks of practice to go.

Hope they pull it off.

Any comments are welcome. With or against me.

GL everybody

Adding ODU-17.5 over ECU
Actually started looking at this with a lean towards ECU. Just think the public really likes ODU after last year and the line may be inflated. I don't think it is and ECU is a poor ft shooting team. Hoping that continues. If ECU shoots 70% from the line I think I may lose this one....I'm treading lightly and making this a small play.

Lasalle 35 Drexel 27 at the half. Let's see how Drexel does in the 2nd half and if Bruiser can make adjustments. I don't think he can.

62-50 Lasalle over Drexel should have gone with my gut here. Didn't know enough about Lasalle though.
Bruiser didn't get it done in the second half for Drexel either.
