Phx -1.5 FH at denver

Mavs 1q -2.5 at Cavs

goin to well, they were good bets last time and will try them to get $$ back ...

two thoughts:

#1 I am not a sonic fan of old, tho I live in seattle, but ive always loved Nate (id better, will prob be coaching his son next year) anyhow, hes a great guy and no BS, this years sonics are in awesome cardio shape (i hear every practice is full speed) and seem genuinely happier than I can recall ... even GP isnt being the ass of usual ... i know many loved Wiz tonight, but I stayed off b/c the sonics have made a battle of every game--no nights off ... will be every interesting to see how they play at key arena with rest and prep vs SACTOWN this friday ... desmond mason is really starting to be a quiet force, barry is hitting 57% treys, lewis could be a monster someday, Nate is encouraging him to "go for it" on isos ... im not any type of bandwagon, and need to "be shown" in all cases, but im starting to think this team could be pesky

#2 i dont wanna bash kobe or shaq, isnt the purpose, but isnt it apparent who the NBA's MVP is? 2-6 shackless ...

Couldn't agree more about Sonics

Couldn't agree more about Sonics

This is an exciting team, not championship caliber this year, but really fun to watch. The guy I think is a potential star is #77 Radmanovich. The whole starting five can hit the threes, plus Mason, and many times they come in bunches.Hope the injuries don't hit 'em so we can see what they can do.

over and out

over and out

thats it for me in NBA the rest of year .. lost 10 straight now ... biggest jinx in history, the Mavs cover 1q all year till i bet it twice (trailing to cavs at half, got toyed with in 1q again) ... same crap happened in baseball playoffs on the overs, i go 0-2 pickign 2 overs, and the other games are 13-0 overs ... I cant pick NBA after about 3 weeks, same routine happens every year ..

gl, I dont know if anyone is doing well yet, but i hope all of you the best ... just a joke to me how to cap this sport ...

take care, gregg

pt1...don't despair bro...this is a tough game to take at times. I go on a nice streak and I think I have a system down and then I get into a mini-rut. The Mavs have hurt me the last 2 times I played them, losing both 1st half plays...once to the Bulls and now to the f'in Cavs. I've been in some good streaks and I've seen my bad streaks as well. You're just in one of these rotten streaks. It will change though. They wouldn't call it a streak if it didn't end. Hang in there. Maybe you just need a few days or a full week off. Hate to lose anyone on this board.

Good luck!

Dragon ... thanx for the kind words

i dont get too down, but just get annoyed i cant pick a winner ... lost again with phx FH to Nugs ... PHX has 4 all star performers and cant even compete with what i still think is worst team in NBA by far ...

anyhow, i will retire on this 11 game slide until further notice ...

our hoops season starts on monday, dont need this mess around my neck, hehe

will provide some analysis on ncaa hoops when I can ...

take care, gregg
