Thanks for the reply gents.
The movie went by quickly considering the length. David is right, I think all the tunes and how he came up with each really keep the movie going.
Few things....
Marine, can't help you with number one. I guess a hype is going to take care of business by hook or crook.
With number two, no you can't use it to proove you aren't racists because it was about a blind guy.

oke And this subject and it's following emotions trumph the fact that he was black, no matter how much you or I got into the movie and enjoyed it. :yup :bs: We have to try another avenue to prove ourselves in that endeaver I guess. Just proves you feel for people with a handicap in their lives, not that you look past someone's skin color.
On my own, why did he never really get a good ass whooping at any point in the movie? I mean we are talking about a blind black man, much of the movie was in the South, that had no problem expressing his direct opinion to anyone, that at one point or another had to cut ties with one person or another whom he was really close to. A lot of Hollywood breakups in his life, and very minimal violence. We are talking about a blind guy that would have never seen it coming.
His perseverance and that of his wife was quite amazing.
Jamie Fox did well.
Good movie.
