getting rid of this thing. I've tried HiJacker, Spybot, CWS Shredder,Bazooka and the thing keeps popping up. Hasn't taken control..but keep getting warnings its trying to change my home page to "about blank". Suggestions would be appreciated...thanks.

Redfish, I have had great luck with Spy Sweeper. Go to this link and download Spy Sweeper under the "Try It" area and you get if free for 30 days. I had numerous spyware issues and this program took care of them all. I have since bought the 1 year membership, run it once a week and have no problems.

Both MJ & CC nailed it. Don't even bother with the trial. It gets 99% of your problems, the other 1% you can do manually. I sweep every few days. about blank will drive you nuts
Thanks CC.....didn't work although it did find a lot of stuff....as a last gasp effort....I rebooted in "safe mode" and scaned with all my antispyware..it seems to have gotten rid of it..thanks for the help.

I paid for adaware. that program must stink because it wasn't detecting or resolved problems.
SpySweeper took care of all of it. I may have to buy it.
