Was drafted in 1967. Served my time in Germany.

Enlisted in Army 1975...first duty station 2nd Cav...Amberg Germany

Congrats man!!! That was quick brother. When I left you couldn't go past captain as an enlisted officer, is that still the case? Did you have to go through the warrant officer program or did you enlist, go to school and then ocs? Just curious, you don't have to answer if you don't want to.....

the sky is the limit my friend. there are no limits on how high up the food chain you can get, being a mustang or not.

I went the hard route -
93 - San Diego/boot camp
93-96 - japan, korea, all those southeast asia places
96-00 - usna
00- pinned on butter bars.
left 5 years later as an O-3. Couple of guys that took the same track as me are Majors now and getting ready to be on the Lt Col selection board.
