Where it is real F ing COLD
Every year Packer fans have to put up with the "Am I going to retire or come back," from Favre. Isn't this getting sickening. I mean come on.. He had us all fooled especially Packer fan when he had his eyes full of tears. You see this guy likes the attention and most do, but the fact is that most Packer fans were fooled into thinking that he wouldn't play for another team. You all thought that Brett was different not like other pro athletes because he was a Packer. Turns out that this guy is full of bullshit because didn't he release a statement last week that coming back to play was just "rumors." I am a die hard Viking fan and am sick of the BS although I find it amusing today. I just hope Packer fans are even more fed up.

The best thing that Green Bay can do is trade him to an AFC team for a 3rd round or a conditional pick and hope he gets his butt kicked.

The Pack don't want him back. They are moving on without him. They don't want the salary cap hit and they have drafted quarterbacks. I think the Vikes will give the Pack a run for their money this year,,

Yeah, it looks like the Packers organization wants to move on. The Vikings will definately give the Pack a run for their money this year.

The media poses the question every year to him and hypes it up.....Do you think Brett has an agenda to be in the spotlight every offseason?? I dont think so...

HELL
My buddy just called who is a Favre fan, big fan. I told him WTF, did the Packers have to get on their knees to blow him to play. Either he wants to play or doesn't? This circus is ridculous. Send him to KC or Baltimore for some M&M peanuts. Fu*K him, let him go get buried behind those offensive lines and powerful WR corps. We play to win the game, yes Herm.............

I do because 2 years ago he held a pres conference in Mississippi in the off season to say that he hadn't made up his mind yet. He then said, "what are they going to do, cut me?" He said that with a grin.

I think I know the team that Favre wants to play for if the Pack would release him.

Dallas.

And the Pack aint playing that shit homey.

Favre could end his career backing up Romo.
Be closer to home, and make the cash Jones would pay him.

Favre is done as a starter. He showed that in the playoffs. He just needs to pack it in. Favre will not suffer the embarressment of playing anything but the starter in Green Bay.

Silly boy

Dallas doesnt have the cap room unless Brett wants to come on for a minimum contract.

Showed that in the playoffs.......HA:mj07:
If Favre showed he is done after facing the Giants then Tom Brady must be retiring also because he sucked worse than Favre did vs those same Giants..........of course Brady also sucked worse playing in warm weather and a dome where as Favre was playing in freezing winter conditions..........

Romo and Garcia didnt fare to well vs those same giants........

Great observation:mj07:

Don't think he would want to play backup in Dallas. Favre will go to a team that he can be a starter and in Green Bay he will be that (even though Rodgers time has come), unless they decide to trade him. A lot of people in Packers conference would like to have Favre as a Qb - he'd be better than Grossman, Kitna, or Jackson.

how much cap room does Dallas have ?

How could they free up cap room to take Favre ?

Unless you are a guru its hard to tell exactly. They just restructured Romo & Leonard Davis contracts to free up some room. MB3's deal is backloaded so that helps as well.

They still need to sign franchised Pro Bowl safety Ken Hamlin though. If its just the one year deal it will be for about 4.6 mill.

I THINK when that is done Dallas will have about 3 million left, but I am not positive if all the draft picks have been signed yet.

If Glenn accepts the medical settlement for 500,000 that would free up another mill in cap space for this season.

There is no way is going to Dallas. Talking about it is crazy. He is not going to go somewhere to back anyone up let alone the Cowboys. The Packers are not going to release him, if they did he would be in purple this season. He either plays for the Pack or gets traded to the AFC.

Really like the Vikings this year other than the most important position on the field, QB. Tarvaris Jackson is awful! If the Vikings had a decent QB, they would be my pick for the Super Bowl as they're excellent on the offensive and defensive line.

I still think Minny is a 10-6 team with Jackson as QB.

I think that is a pretty fair number. I'm guessing 8-8 or 9-7 for the Vikings. Jackson is a poor, poor quarterback. They will struggle to move the ball through the air with any sort of consistency. I think Green Bay will win the division with relative ease, regardless of who the quarterback is.

Vikes were 7 - 3 with Jackson as a starter last year. Yes he was poor at times, but he had a lot of drops.(Shianco and Williamson) Remember this guy was in his second year. Rushed into a starting job. Favre was horseshit in the beginning, many Packer fans were calling for him to be benched in his first year as GB starter. Jackson obviously is no Favre and never will be but he has potential. A strong strong arm. I am not closing the books on him until I see how he does this year. Also he has Bernard Berrian and Syney Rice in his second year. Rice has Big upside and now Bobby Wade can play the slot recevier which is his more natural so don't count Jackson out yet.
