in Oakland for afternoon games? Seems like I remember that it's hard to hit because of the ball going in and out of sunlight.

With the sun setting during the game, I gotta believe there will be some shadows. If I recall, OAK ballpark has HP sitting due west, which means HP should be darkened by the third or fourth inning and the shadow moving out towards 2nd base through the middle innings. Should make it extremely tough to pick up PEDRO's fastball or ZITO's curve. I'm already on the UNDER and I'm thinking of playing OAK +1.5 also.

If shadows are a problem, they should only be a problem early in the game. By 5 p.m. the shadows should be past the pitcher's mound, I believe. If this were earlier in the year it would be an issue but sundet is at 6:45, which is about 1.5 hours after the first pitch. If this were July 6, sunset would be 8:34, which is 1.5 hours after the first pitch as well. So as far as the sun and shadows go, this will be the equivalent of an ordinary night game in early July.
