Lurker on a regular basis. Thought I would come in and post occasionally. Going to try to post for the baseball playoffs. Always seem to be better at totals than sides in almost all sports. Totals seem less dependent on one teams performance. Example playing a total over, you think one side is capable of scoring 6 or more runs and the other team needs to get at least 4 and the total goes over. Just the opposite could happen and you still win. I use some theories different than most of handicappers wether they are right or wrong they seem to do ok for me. Baseball totals I base the majority of my decision on the 8 guys in the field and not the two pitchers. I use to follow umpires before it was fashionable 15-20 years ago but I think it was less dependable than the 8 guys in the field theory I use.
First day of the playoffs and I rank them 1-5 with 5 being the largest:
4* Boston Under
3* NYY Over
3* Boston
3* LAA
Nothing looks good in St. Louis game, won't play a big favorite like St. Louis. I would play either St. Louis and over or SD and under. Pass for me.
Made a small series play on the Angels to take down the evil empire. It would make my current diet seem alot easier to win that one.
As Always Good Luck
