Everyone knows there's a problem with the BCS, but is there really anyway to fix it? People say a playoff, but even with that, some team would get screwed.

4 team playoff?? how often is there 4 undefeated teams, which means somebody with a 11-1 record gets in. Well, chances are there are about five 11-1 teams, so which ones get in

8 team playoff?? I think the same issue would arise, you would have a few undefeated, and a bunch of 11-1 teams.

No matter what format they come up with, somebody is going to get screwed

I was just curious if anyone had any clues or idea's that would resolve the problem we had this year but also resolve the problem we had last year?

i think it would make more sense to have a playoff. like you said no matter what format you have some teams will get screwed, but hey that happens. i think though that if you get the top 8 teams or have a selection commitee pick them, or base them on conference champions it could be done. even a 16 team wouldn't be that bad. 11 major conferences with 5 at large bids.

you would have
Big Ten Champ--Michigan
Big East Champ--Pitt
SEC champ-------Auburn
Pac 10 champ---USC
Big 12 champ---Oklahoma
ACC champ-----Va tech
Conf USA champ----Louisville
Mac Champ-----Toledo
Moutian West Champ---Utah
Sun Belt Champ---N Texas
Wac Champ------Boise St
at large bids would go by the BCS standings.
Texas, California, Georgia, LSU and Iowa

1 vs 16
USC vs North Texas-------Holiday Bowl
8 vs 9
Virgina Tech vs Boise St----Alamo Bowl
2 vs 15
Oklahoma vs Toledo-----Houston Bowl
7 vs 10
Georgia vs Louisville-----Continental Tire Bowl
3 vs 14
Auburn vs Pittsburgh----Independence Bowl
6 vs 11
Utah vs LSU--------Liberty Bowl
4 vs 13
Texas vs Michigan------Sun Bowl
5 vs 10
California vs Iowa------Emearld Bowl
