FSU -25 over UL Monroe ****
FSU is better then their playing..beat up on Maine last week..same tonite vs UL...Snaer is one of the top gds in the country..White and Shannon are 6'8 and can score and rebound..esp against weak talent...UL's top scorer has been out past 2 games and questionable 2nite...3 of the top 4 scorers are gds..their coach won't be there 2 nite since he got 2 techs vs Southern the other nite. Southern won by 29 at UL. they shot 12-48 vs Southern.the War Hawks are almost last in the country in offense, FG%,rebounding...playing on the rd w/o top scorer and coach..blowout...
LA Tech -2 over Ark LR **
La beat them a month ago at home..LR is 7-0 at home..pretty even teams. ...LR has 6'10 Neighbour that LA has to deal with...Tech attacks the hoop more and will win this game on the FT line..
UNLV -6.6 over UTEP ****
Rebs are quicker,more athletic and have 2 guys with 28 and 48 assists ..throw in 6'8 Bennett and all the transfers and as the season goes on they will gel...they lost Moser to an injury but get 6'9 Birch for the 1st time...he should create some post problems for the Miners..Miners have trouble scoring...they get Tucker back Moore gets to play his 1st game...Rebels win this by double digits..close with about 10 minutes left..then Rebs pull away..
Detroit +18.5 over Cuse **
Think these guys can keep it close vs a zone defense...they have some solid outside shooters esp in McCallum..if they can move the ball around and attack the seams think Cuse will have its hands full..the wings are the key...Cuse puts X-mas out there and that alters shots...at the top of the zone you have Tiche and Williams at 6'4 and 6'6..Williams is the best pt gd in the country right now..he has 30 asst's in last 2 games..vs weak teams but still...Southerland if hot never misses...Cuse wins but Det needs to play its A game tonite..think they can make it close...Det has some wings of their own that can shoot and they get Minnerth back....

Boe goes for 900 2 nite...have known him for many years...he gets knocked a lot but he is a good coach...has been loose with certain teams and hard on others..worked his Orange camp many yrs ago...he is very funny..seen him at many,many clinics..was a guest speaker at our camp...any HS coach can come to his practices...we used to go to Manley Fieldhouse and watch a couple practices..didn't learn a thing those years because he had Owens and co...all they did was run and fast break...but his 2-3 defense is amazing...one knock on him is he never changes it...he hardly ever goes to man/man no different then Bobby Knight going to zone..
Any opposing coach.. too night included knows what they have to do..go against a 2-3....they adjust the wings...don't let you skip pass..do let you skip pass..let you drive the side lane and have many,many 6'10 post players over the yrs stop you with everyone rotating.Not as easy at it sounds or looks.....anyway the knock sometimes on Boe is his discipline..he lets certain things go by....
And how ironically tonite on his possible 900 th win he has an incident..
Carter-Williams his 6'6 pt gd was caught shop lifting a Ralph Lauren bathrobe at a store in Cuse the other day...he admitted to it and the store and him worked it out and he paid a fine....some coaches would internally suspend there player or do something....Boe said today he talked to Williams and it was a misunderstanding and he fine with it..so Williams will be starting tonite and that's that....that is the part I don't like about Boe...I would bench his ass for the game or what ever...
