12/31

Houston tt under 24 (3*)

* This scenario with Florida St vs. Houston has played out many times since the inception on the BCS. Power conferences tend to give smaller conference teams fits on offense. Smaller conference teams that make it to BCS games typically are some sort of high flying offense that put up silly numbers throughout the regular season. This causes their totals in these types of games to be inflated. There offense usually comes down to earth a good bit and in many cases gets flat out shut down. Florida State will have the better athletes on the field, not many would argue this point. My only question was to find out their motivation and from all I have observed and read Florida State is pumped up to be in the ATL. Those who think I am wrong here I have a few stats that are going to make you think twice. Houstons strength of schedule is #92

Houston's 3 toughest opponents on the season...Cincy - Memphis - Louisville...Houston barely scratched out a win against all 3 of these opponents

Florida St's top 3 opponents on the season...Florida 27-2 win...Clemson 13-23 loss...Louisville 42-24 blowout win...notice the common opponent in Louisville

I could go on for awhile and throw out stats that support this play but this is the only stat you need to hear about...How many times has Florida St given up more than 24 pts????....0 times this season is the answer. These are the point totals that FLST has given up game by game...2-13-17-23-21-22-21-24-16-0-14-16...they gave up 24 points one time in a win against Miami...I have a hard time believing that Houston will reach the 24 pt total, with bowl history and Florida St's track record this year on my side I am very confident in this wager...gl today men
