My personal belief is that there is something more then what I see existence wise. Problem I have is the defining of it. Does someone really deserve to burn in a pit of fire just because they don't have faith? Rather harsh isn't it?

And as stated earlier the only "higher power" I believe in is the gambling god. And that prick never listens to me:142smilie

The ole Atheist vs Religion tune again

Only one can be correct--what are the consequences of each if their right or wrong?

We know consequences Atheist face if Christians are correct.

If Atheists are correct--then we Christians go through life with hope and support in times of death and other adversity--while Athiests can dwell on same with no hope or comfort from like thinkers but have satifaction knowing they were correct.

I believe I'll opt for chance of being wrong and benefit from the comfort/optimism and hope until during my lifetime

--rather than than go through life with no hope for self or family.

Each most definately go through life with entirely diff attitudes.

Seems like a no brainer to me.

JT..............now that would change everything.....a "Chipwich God" would not only bring back the Chipwich but would also give them away for free.

Consequences, lol. For once I would like a Christian to answer honestly if they truly believe a person deserves a eternity of suffering in hell if they don't have 'faith'. They never will, always spin according to their brainwashing errrr belief.
As for me, I am optimistic as I do believe existence goes on and I have faith that if there is a 'God' or something along those lines that he isn't that big of a asshole and takes some responsibility for a mess he created. Own up sir.

amazing

amazing

This topic has been brought up over and over again and yet the same result. Nothing. I find it fascinating that we truly argue about something no one knows 100% about. I could spit Bible verses out and you can tell me I'm stupid, and yet, nothing. Wonder why that is? Because no one knows. This isn't capping a game and we finally get a tangible result.
Is it more stupid to believe one side or another or to argue over something you aren't 100% for sure.
If you believe in God, great, if you don't great.
No doubt the world is becoming less religious/spiritual, but that doesn't change what I believe or who I believe.
I guess I just feel it is pointless continuously arguing about something no one is 100% for sure on. You can believe 100% one way or the other but it doesn't make you right.
Gl whatever "play" you are on, but seriously we don't know a damn thing.
