The ole Atheist vs Religion tune again
Only one can be correct--what are the consequences of each if their right or wrong?
We know consequences Atheist face if Christians are correct.
If Atheists are correct--then we Christians go through life with hope and support in times of death and other adversity--while Athiests can dwell on same with no hope or comfort from like thinkers but have satifaction knowing they were correct.
I believe I'll opt for chance of being wrong and benefit from the comfort/optimism and hope until during my lifetime
--rather than than go through life with no hope for self or family.
Each most definately go through life with entirely diff attitudes.
Seems like a no brainer to me.
Atheists lead equally as fulfilling family lives as believers.
IMO, most of them do not need the crutch that religion provides, which, by definition, would make them stronger individuals than believers.
I should add that religion provides a huge service in consoling the bereaved. This is my favorite part of religion:toast:
