I will live my life according to these beliefs.
God does not exist
It?s just foolish to think
There is an all-knowing God with a cosmic plan
That an all-powerful God brings purpose to the pain and suffering in the world
is a comforting thought however
It
is only wishful thinking
people can do whatever they please without eternal consequences
The idea that
I am deserving of hell because of sin
is a lie meant to make me a slave to those in power
The more you have the happier you will be
Our existence has no grand meaning or purpose
In a world with no God
there is freedom to be who I want to be
But with God
life is an endless cycle of guilt and shame
Without God
everything is fine
It is ridiculous to think
I am lost and in need of saving
Until Jesus reversed my thinking (read in reverse)

Buckwheat, there is actually people out there who do good things just because they actually get a good feeling from it not because of fear of punishment.

JT, Almost all people do the right thing 90% or more. I'm talking about the other times, because no one is perfect. Those 5 things I listed stops them. For those who are close to perfect there was no "thought "process to do wrong in the first place.
If someone drops a $100 bill, I give it to them. I know without thinking the opposite is stealing. I don't need or even expect a pat on the back. The "feeling good" reward you are talking about doesn't enter my mind.
On the other hand, technically if I find a $100 and no owner can be found, I'm suppose to claim it on my income tax. That's not going to happen.
