hello there (everyone),

If anyone is willing to loan ME money I'll put it all on Maryland -380. It's a surefire winner. Dixon, Baxter, Wilcox, et al will go native on the Cinderella Hoosiers tonite. Gary Williams will be coaching and sweating like a madman. My record is 0-0 with this type of play, but I feel like I CAN'T lose. ;) ....and I've got good credit.

youre not kidding...early but i really think pedro isnt the same pitcher...now has two pitches fastball...changeup...thats it...no more curve...he looks tentative to throw that pitch with any bite...i think they score a lot of runs this year but their staff could be in trouble...

back to b ball...my book has line now at minus 7...hmmmm....

I won't risk any more than a dime.:)

As a rule, wouldn't want to risk too much on a straight play. As a part of a parlay, yes. I do think Maryland will WIN. Haven't heard the Terps doing much talking the past couple of days. If you notice, it's mainly been the Indiana soundbites playing on TV. Think Gary Williams has his team focused on winning the championship. Indiana just has that feeling of amazement at just having gotten this far. Of course, anything can happen in one game, and this is just one game. Will be interesting to see how Indy's defense can be. If the Hoosiers can't run with the Terps I think they're done. Indiana's surge in the 2nd half of the season and their tourney run has been great, but Maryland's frontcourt, stellar guard play and overall quickness will pose problems for IU.

Enjoy the game.:)

Forget the ML play. Went w/ the Terps +0.5 vs. Kansas 1H. Just got a feeling here.......

MARYLAND -4 1H.

Well, got a dime winnah there on the 1H play.:)

Now will be looking to putting a nickel on the 2H. So far you can look at this game two ways:

Maryland should be leading by double digits. Blown easy shots and bad turnovers notwithstanding, they've been tenacious with steals (especially Dixon) , rebounding and blocked/tipped shots. Indiana staying in the game with 3-pt shooting and solid defense.

On the other hand, Indiana should be staying with Maryland given that they blew some very easy shots and not converting on their FT attempts.

Looking for Maryland to keep going inside and kick it out to the perimeter for shots. Indiana will continue to have a hard time in the paint but will have some success getting fouls. They should be able to continue their success from the outside.

OVER 77.5 2H

gl all

:)

Well, that 2H play went down like Indiana's shooting in the last several minutes of the half. What a stinker!

Anyway, Maryland's "D" stepped up when they went down by 2. A steller defensive show when it counted. Congrats to Maryland the 2002 National Champs. FEAR THE TURTLE!!!

Hello there, I hope you know the concept of ROI (return on investment):

110/100 = 90.9%
380/100 = 26.3%

All of us think at one time that we have a "sure winner". But in truth the odds of winning a straight play is the same as flipping a coin, simply 50/50. Yeah, Maryland SHOULD win, which they did, but what if Indiana won? .......eh, does Duke ring a bell?
