The ball was hit foul, hit part of the stadium and went to Hamilton. Hamilton then picked up the ball and threw it into the stands and that is how it happened.

Exactly. The fan caught the ball that Hamilton threw to him or who ever Hamilton threw it too. Not sure if he completed the catch tho.

Clearly a foul ball down the left field line bounced off the wall into fair territory. Hamilton picks up the foul ball and tosses it into the stands. Even Helen Keller could see it.
