Definitely a good guy. He was a little 'shaded' during the party, but most of us were. He wasn't the guy from MJ's who had to have the paramedics haul him away on a stretcher for alcohol poisoning. Even if he was, who cares? Where is Chanman????

I am worried that the last anyone had heard of him was when he was staggering around the outdoor patio of Green Valley Ranch. Maybe he started rambling incoherently and the authorities assumed he was an illegal Asian immigrant because of his name. Dude could be stuck in Shanghai trying to prove his citizenship.

i don't enjoy posting here as much as i used to (i don't post anywhere else).....the forum has gotten more immature & nasty than recent years...just look in the general discussion forum & look under the thread where btj & fletcher are having a contest for what i mean.....there is this one poster who is constantly nasty with the other members in which he posts personal stuff about some of the posters,making fun of how they look & making comments about their spouses.....to me that's uncalled for & the pathetic thing is he thinks he is funny.....imo,posters should treat each other the way they would if they were talking face to face.....if he talked to people in person the way he talks to them in the forum, he would be constantly picking himself off the floor.

imo, this forum is worse off with fewer posts by stand up people like you & chanman & more posts by this poster i'm talking about......

i'm not sure if i will be posting much during the football season either...

good luck to you & have always enjoyed reading your posts.

I'm with you AR. I feel the same way.

Pretty much done posting. I figured there were more out there like you. I thought things would slow down at this site when the college kids got out of school. No such luck.

It seems every year after football and with summer coming on things slow a little. But the older guys hang on. It would not be good if to many long timers went. Respect for each other in that group is there. We might not always agree but I believe we do have a level of respect. At least for my little part here I do.

I haven't noticed it any worse here in the Politics section than it usually is. Some guys come on and do a lot of name calling but but so what? Name calling shouldn't make you stop posting. It goes with the territory. I can't speak much for the General section because I have not had much time to post for a few months and I tend to like politics. Along with not having time to post my time to handicap has shrunk too and I wouldn't want to post an opinion I couldn't back up.
