I am a sigma nu... lots of good stories, the great stories can't be documented... to protect the guilty.

Fraternities and Sororities are very different. Most guys join a Fraternity because they have things in common with the guys in the fraternity... Chicks join for status.

If you have 2 guys that were friends and they went to different fraternities, chances are they stayed friends. If two girls joined different sorority, chances are they hated each other in 6 months.

My son of 32 was a Sigma Nu at Michigan State, it was a great experience for him, he still keeps in touch with many of his Frat brothers.

Frat guy at JCU outside of Cleveland. I didn't care about anybody outside of the frat except the sluts that came around because we treated them like shit. Anybody who said anything bad to any one of my brothers was immediately put down usually in a fight where we had a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio. Yep . . I was "that guy"

Still see my 5 of my pledge brothers once or twice a year and there's about 20 guys across 10 years that get together near Xmas in Chicago. Love them all.

I was in SAE - Sigma Alpha Epsilon - loved pledging and had a ton of fun doing so. It was like a Madjack's outing every damn night.

Once I became I member, I got thrown out because I didn't go to meetings and didn't give a shat because I had to play tennis.

I was a DU at Mizzou back in the early eighties, and my daughter is an Alpha Phi down there right now. I still keep in touch with many of the "real friends" I made while I was down there. It was a very positive experience for me, and my daughter is loving the soroity life too. May not be for everyone, but it was good for me.
