I keep seeing on these OSU message board saying they are going to win; even Georgia is worried; has anyone seen OSU record on the road :mj07:
they got rung up by Baylor at the tune of 44 pts two years ago; yes they have Ried yes they Savage but they dont have a defense; some guys will be seeing first action; they will triple Bowman all day long; they have no number 2; just look at OSU record on road past 5 years its a joke; and now they face the toughest opponent YET; how is OSU going to stop Georgia; and as far as Reid he got pulled because he was pouting last year in the OU game and the other qb came in and almost won it for them; OSU at home maybe at Georgia; USC would have problems with them; someone give me some reason on how OSU doent get their ass handed to them; OSU has a GREAT offense but on the road with 92k fans; first game; GIVE ME a reason this just seems too easy; the only thing I see is someone with OSU new no huddle offense they catch Georgia napping but I doubt that; I just know Stafford will be be MUCH better and Georgia like always is loaded; someone tell me why I dont take Georgia at home laying less than a TD against a team that gets lit up by Baylor; also when Georgia scores more than 20 they are 50-5; the funny thing is I dont even like Georgia but I love money? any that knows about how georgia is looking let me know i know osu defense is suspect right now and Georgia offense is really doing well in practice

I know it is a different team and a different year,but I was sold that UGA was going to ROLLLLLL Colorado last season between the hedges.
27 point favorite and needed a late TD to get the 14-13 victory. Colorado was beyond AWFUL entering that game.

Also UGA was 1-4-1 ATS at home last season.

This all has me worried,but I agree with you that UGA should roll them for some reason.

Big difference is Stafford is wont throw 13 picks and 7 tds this year; plus they have their top RB back; homefield is so big and OSU is garbage on the road do the research; Georgia had a horrible year last year because of QB play; OSU defense wont be able to get to Stafford; if this was at OSU; it would be different but OSU is one of if not the worst road teams in NCAA; did you not see Ried pout in the OU game last year and get pulled it was comical; yes OSU has a great offense but their defense is comical at best; just because one game came out a certain way doesnt mean crap; I just love a middle tier Big XII team on the road against a team that is only behind Florida in SEC standings I will take my chances. And you don't think the Cowboys are preparing
for this game. You don't think OSU is capable of
standing toe to toe with the Bulldogs. Have you
read those two posts I put above. Do you realize
the Cowboys have beat the big bad Sooners like
2 or 3 out of the last 5 yrs. They're not afraid of
the Georgia Bulldogs. They love the UD role. bbk,

you can throw this stat out the window. This is the start of the new season, teams rise to their level of best performances.

There is no way of knowing yet how these teams will fair.

I would be concerned most about rookie Ga Offensive line protecting Stafford, loss of their top CB, linebacker unknowns, and a few more things.

Makes taking Ga for anything more than a unit about stupidity .

I could care less about georgia or osu i am not a fan of either; i think homefield is huge; i think georgia has a HUGE defensive edge; coaching edge; they are almost as good on offense i have no idea why you would be saying i would talking like a fan; do the research; osu defense is laughable; osu will be lucky to to come in 5th in the big xii this year; if this line was 10; but under a td AT GEORGIA; i could care less about the sooners; i will probably bet on NT because OU will just run the ball all day long; i have been betting for over 15 years i dont bet with my heart i bet for money; good luck either way but if you think OSU is good on the road you need a reality check they are awful and this is by FARRRRRRRRRR the hardest opponent they have faced on the road EVER; and yes OSU is preparing but the talent level is just so far off it wont make a difference; you have defended OSU what are your reasons what makes you believe they can go in and beat a Richt led team coming off a bad year against with one of the worst teams on the road in NCAA history with a defense that will be starting some guys that have never even been on a college football game in front of 92k crazy sec fans; reid and bowman better go for 400 yards or its over; and how does OSU beating OU have anything to do with this game; can you give me some insight on that

You talk about past OSU road record.
Again I bring up that UGA was 1-4-1 last season ATS at home.
They are 5-11-1 the last 3 seasons at home ATS as well.
2-5-1 ATS vs. non conference last 3 seasons.
We are in a gambling forum not a W/L forum unless you are talking Moneyline Wager.
Not sure how UGA is a solid lock on opening day without seeing them play yet.

And that loss 44-34 @Baylor in '05 was not as bad as you think. BU was 5-6 with Overtime losses at A&M and @OU. OSU had 4 1stH picks in that game and Reid got hurt early.

I wish you luck as I will have a little on UGA,just not as sold as you.

I have UGA(-6) straight up. I agree with you that the Big 12 doesn't step up in many non-conf. games like this one. Just don't try and sell me that OSU sucks.

as far as defense goes ark state hasnt played yet but is their defense good; thats what they call scouting; osu will have some players that have never played college football on defense; not a a good first game to start on defense; considering osu was awful last year; good luck on your play; if you are playing the ML -280 is a pretty tough price but you wont lose good luck
