Getting Banned??

I found this site about a month ago and really like most of what I read. I like the debate and the name calling.. The back and forth.

I just think that people take comments too personal. It seems like it is easy to get banned from this site. I don't care if someone calls me out for making a bad pick or strongly disagrees with my views. Call me a pussy or prick... Make fun of me as much as you want. I'm a man I can take it.

It's great to have a site where people can argue and discuss politics, sports, gambling, and see a little mojo. Maybe the name calling doesn't bother me because I am new. Maybe it will wear me down and piss me off.

I am a Viking fan living in Packer country. If you don't know, most packer fans are belligerent "know it alls" about football. They jump and down, cheer and clap when their running back runs for 1 yard. They are willing to fist fight you, call you names and eat your children for their team. If I can live with that, we all should all be able to handle what people say on this site. Why? Because we are men.. No offense to some of the women on this site.

not many get banned here at all. i'm totally against it but think i maybe should be more strict like we were 8-10 years ago :shrug:

spammers get banned and newbies that are here to start problems, that's about it.

and, yeah, the service forum gets a lot of bans but i can do without that forum anyway.

if i banned everybody that i get email requests to ban, we'd have about 5 people posting here.

All my life. My dad was a BIG Viking fan and kind of pounded it into my brain. Set me up for years of heartbreak and misery. He moved to Wisconsin 30 years ago because he found 80 acres of land at a cheap rate to build a house. He bitched about living in Wisconsin most of the rest of his life, but it was country.

I love Wisconsin besides the Packers, but after this winter I really am thinking about moving to Florida or Arizona. It is fuking snowing here today. It was 70 degrees on Wed. Screw this. It wears you down.

I guess that is what I kinda of mean. I will never email you to ban someone for calling me names or disagreeing with me.

there aren't that many and it's mostly from the handicapping forums and politics forum. one guy has been banned about 8 times under different names and i can't think of one of the names right now.
