Going to Yankee and Shea Stadium...need seat advice

Planning a trip in late summer. Anyone have any advice on where not to sit? I've heard to stay away from the bleachers at Yankee Stadium because you have limited access to the park. We're really thinking about sitting in the Tier Reserved section. We're trying to be budget friendly while allowing our two kids 10 and 1.5 years-old the chance to experiece baseball history in its final seasons.

Any help would be great. Like I said, we're really looking into the Tier Reserved, but don't want to be in a bad spot.
