That's odd. Didn't do that by default for me but not sure what setting it is to correct.
Chrome is superior, in my opinion as well.
When everyone was all over FF, I didn't agree that it was that much of an improvement. Chrome is worth the switch.
Unfortunately, I have to leave IE on my computer as some sites and applications only work in IE.

First step - click on wrench, go to Options, then click on Extensions in the left hand column.
What do you have enabled?

That's a very minor bug but that I will fix. I have been moving things over and organizing the last few hours. I still use IE but in about a week or so I'm sure I'll never go back.
