No, the azbob. Obviously you don't understand.
Here, I'll try to help you out:
A CEO's job is always and ever to improve the bottom line. Period. It's a simple job.
A President's job is to improve the country -
For example -
To eliminate the vile practice of slavery.
To fight necessary wars. like WWII, regardless of the impact on the profit/loss statement.
To require equal rights, as in women voting.
To pursue new frontiers as in putting a man on the moon, developing drugs to treat non-profitable diseases.
To promote equality for all, as in the end of segregation.
To run deficits when made necessary by economic conditions.
To end favoritism/discrmination according to race, sex, creed, sexual orientation.
To make the hard choices: Using the first atomic weapon.
To protect the elderly, weak, disabled and disadvanted from the ravages of dog-eat-dog capitalism.
To promote the "general welfare".
So, the azbob, compare the two:
The CEO says:
"The Azbob is getting on in years. He can't work as hard as he once did. Fire his ass. If he starves, not MY problem. Fuck him. Next question?"
I can't tell you, the azbob, how much I despise greedy, bottom-line-how-much-can-I-put-in-my-pocket-fuck-everyone-else assholes like you.
You'd best hope that the citizen uprising doesn't come in your lifetime. Your sorry ass will be one of the first in the bonfire.
