Man this society needs to get ready mentally for a time when everything we currently "get done" being accomplished with like 25-50% employment (and the rest machines/computers). What are all the people in the country going to do when half the population doesn't need to work? Efficiency and standard of living stays the same or goes up, but so few people need to work to make it happen. It's theoretically a good thing, but the growing pains are going to be severe. Huge challenge imo.
What McDonalds pays $15 an hour?
Brave New World +120
Total Chaos -130
I did and I had no idea and haven't heard a thing about it.Google that shit.
The sad truth is, we need those people behind the counter, because far too many people are just too stupid to use the "robot".
Look at the self-serve aisle and kiosks anywhere and they are empty, or have an employee helping the dummy who screwed up.
Yyz, that's bc the self check never works right! I would always use it if it actually sensed I was putting my shit in the bagging area after I scanned it. Instead, it doesn't sense it and calls over a flunkie to type in a few things for bypass.
I rarely go t McDonald's, but I would be against robot workers there.
I know right. Nobody around here though. I know I don't :lol:The Most Popular Fast Food Restaurants in America

#1 McDonald's
2011 U.S. sales: $34.2 billion
Number of locations: 14,098
McDonald's unsurprisingly takes the prize for the biggest fast food chain across the U.S. Sales increased by about 5% last year, the company opened up 71 new locations and recently appointed a new CEO. There's just no stopping the Golden Arches.

I always use self check out at my Kroger and they are always great. Never an issue and only needed when a date needed for alcohol purchases. Otherwise, simple and easy.I always use self serve when I can, I did have a bad streak at Wally World, I blew a rod cause it was the third or fourth day in a row but much better now.
Yyz..... Never fails to amaze me the lines of people at Pic N Save waiting for an actual person to ring up buns, beer, and brats when there is like 5 self check outs open before a Brewers game. Maybe it's the fact that they have to find onion and weigh it that scares them. Oh well better parking for me
